My 3080 loves this. There's something about flying in absolute smoothness and razor-fine clarity for once, instead of fiddling with vr settings constantly. I find myself swiveling my head all around to see everything..... And smiling.

It’s great to fly in VR and good for a beginner as me in flying VR have also MfS2020 but it’s hard to fly in VR and the performance is beter in AF4 it’s smoother.

progrmr, thank you for yet another video on AEFS4. Have been searching for full videos on the Bf 109, from engine start & taxi to active, t/o, circuit to landing, with flight model in detailled mode ( no artificial stability added if that's possible in AEFS 4 ? ). If you can record one of these sessions it'll be Great ! Thx !

@@progrmr Thx ! I'm curious about how detailled the FM is. The 109 is known for it's difficult ground handling, the tailwheel having to be locked specially if taking off from paved runways, and in the air requiring good rudder if not at cruise settings, around 450 km/h... Landing can be tricky as well...

Did you know that there is also a Robin DR400 for Aerofly FS 4 via the IPACS Aircraft SDK (its included as a quick and easy example of converting an FS 2 aircraft into FS4 - you only need to install the SDK then run the provided aircraft converter on the included ready to convert DR400 folder)

Depends on what you're looking for - it doesn't have the system depth of FS 2020 or X-Plane 11, doesn't have a dynamic weather model or ATC interaction. There is some depth to the systems for Cold/Dark on most of the planes and the flight model feels good. It runs great on modest hardware - it's a sim-lite experience. I enjoy it very much. You could buy it from Steam and try it for two hours - if you don't like it and are under two hours you can get a refund. I'd say it's definitely worth trying out to see if it's for you.

I mean msfs is for high end pc's so Aeroflight FS 4 is the only option for some people especially if you want to play this in vr
