Hey there. Got this earlier this week. I've got a radio that needs a dongle. Ordered one from hobby king and will be getting it today. Super excited to finally have a good high quality simulator.

Yes I did see your last video on LOS flying it was very good. Are you going to go through all the menues and how you sett up diffrent switches for landing gear,flaps and wind direction etc? I have tried experimenting with the wind force and that made a very big difference in flying experience. I haven't tried the full version of RC8 yet (having trouble getting that purchase past my wife 😁). How does RC8 compare to Freeride if you want to fly LOS?

Thank you for all your great videos. I have the aero flight 8 and a jumper T16,it works great but my apple mini gets overheated and it starts lagging. What PC would you recommend to run the program, I’m ready to upgrade. And after you activate it, it will not go back to the home screen. Happy New Year 👍👍

Happy new year to you as well man :) Well.. if you would want to run the program at it's highest resolution etc, you basically need a modern gaming pc.. I personally don't have a super new computer, but concentrate mostly on getting a good / fast graphics card.. With reasonably modern stuff you will be good to go :) Cheers!

in general (and historically) Aerofly's psysics have been better.. That said, the difference used to be bigger

Howdy man :) sorry but I can't help you there.. I do fly heli's in the sim with an OpenTX radio, but that takes no mixes at all.. I don't run OpenTX radio's on heli's in real life :$

Is there a flight slim that the monitor simulates how I would be flying looking through the goggles (without wearing goggles)? I badly need the practice. Never done plane FPV.

this sim does have an "in cockpit" view.. soooo I guess that pretty much resembles FPV flying :)

Is it worth getting this over 7 ultimate? If yes can you explain why. Good video and am tempted but as said, i have Aerofly 7 Ultimate.

That is a hard one to answer as you might value different things then me (or someone ellse) If you use it mostly to practice flying RC's I'd say RC7 is completely fine.. right? :)

@@menacegtr I can say I'm happy with the improvements, but well.. I didn't have to pay for them ;) I did pay for the versions Before RC8 and those were wurth it I think..

@@DutchRC I think i will get it because i can. I have Realflight 7.5 Phoenix 5 and Aerofly 7 Ultimate. I couldn't justify going above RF 7.5, i won't bother with vr so going above 7.5 is pointless. The good thing about Aerofly 7 ultimate is, it still has a good few flyers online. Just need to look at Aerofly 8 maybe just for extra planes. I need to look at reviews on YT to make my mind up. Are there any new photo flying sites in 8? Just so you know it's purely for fun, nothing more

@@menacegtr To answer That I should tell you how I use RC8: 1. helicopter & LOS multirotor practice.. 2. 3d airplane flying for fun mostly 3. once in a while a scenery tour.. For 1. some major bugs are gone in RC8 so that's nice :) 2. didn't really change.. for 3. there indeed nice big & detailed additions :)

well yes / no.. I think you can fly everthing from the cockpit view.. so basically you can even fly helicopters FPV in this sim :)

For Mac you can use heli-x. It also had airplanes

Just dual boot your Mac. What's the problem. I run PC only software constantly on my Mac. Zero issues.
