It is definitely easier to add in the trellis before the plants get too big, easier said than done. I do believe that the spacing issue makes or breaks people. Either you figure it out like you did, or nothing works and you give up. Congrats on passing the test, lol. I had an entire winter garden of these units and still learned a ton. And had bad spacing issues.

YES adding the trellis a bit earlier would have been a great move. We thought maybe they would rely on it too much and become weak, so we tried without. They did good until we trimmed the roots a bit, and of course once the tomatoes started growing, all that added weight, things changed quickly😂. These units are so cool, especially for us, with very little garden skills😄 and we are getting lots of tomatoes!!!🍅 🍅 🍅 So awesome!!!

@@fawnfinds They ARE really cool. I love mine and keep buying more. I love trying new seeds and things I haven't seen grown in one before. We were making salsa over the winter from the winter garden. That was the coolest in my opinion.
