What I discovered with my cucumber plants when it had many like that & some baby ones were wilting is every 14 days(the off week of feeding) when I fed the unit 10mL of Cal Mag, cleared up the problem. I also pruned the plant heavy at 1 point then pruned older & Big leaves when I thought it needed it. That helped the plant survive beautifully!

How long will the cucumber plant last? After you get blooms and cucumbers... How long does the plant last before it dies....and then start another plant? Did you get one harvest from all the blooms? Or did you get more buds an cucumbers in a second harvest?

Cucumber plants survive for a long time. I had some survived for more than a year. However, the productivity will be degraded after first couple of months (~6 months). So, I always pull out the plants after 6 months and start over with a cutting.

@@aerogardenexperiments Wow!!! Mine only lasted 2 months. That is Great!!! Thank You

Do you wait till the stem is a certain length, or has some green buds on it, or must the plant have 3 open flowers, before you cut the main stem bud off? Where in this growth cycle is when I am supposed to cut the top off the main stem? Thank You

Hello, I find this video very informative and I love it. Can you please tell me if this cucumber plant is still producing or you shut it down. Thanks

Hi, cucumber plants survive for years, but they won't be productive after a couple of months. So, I normally pull out the plants and start over.

AMAZING experiment ! What a success ! Is this type cucumber self - pollinating? 🥒
@aerogardenexperiments10 ай бұрын
Yes, it is. It is, in fact, no pollination variety called Parthenocarpy.

Where did you get those black covers?
@aerogardenexperiments10 ай бұрын
If you are referring to the covers I put over the pod, I bought them from Etsy. Same ones are not great and no longer available. However, I see a lot of better ones on Etsy here tidd.ly/3vEM4UT
