Getting it on the stand is really easy with 2 people. If you are trying to do it alone, it is a little tricky, but doable. With your machine open flat, you will want to secure the carriage by putting on a cord. Take the head and lift the corner of it onto the stand. Then walk around to the foot of the machine and lift it up onto the stand. It will be a bit imbalanced. You can go back to the head of the machine and move it into position and then back to the foot to get it into position as well. It sounds easy enough, but is a little complicated. I know this explanation may not be too helpful, but I will try to load a video soon.

@@everythingaeropilates Put my stand together the other day and absolutely love it! My machine sounds quieter too. Go figure. I bought the stand from Amazon. One of the four holes on the center legs must be slightly smaller because I can't get the pin to go through. But a I am not worried about it. I will find something else to use as a pin if I need to. What a difference the stand makes!

@@karenlucci2154 Isn't it wonderful! I really love having the stand. It makes jumping on the machine more inviting. It is quieter as well, that is an amazing point! I have had that problem with one hole being too small for the pin. It does not affect the sturdiness of the stand (that I have noticed), but it did begin to make a little more noise (after months), so my husband used a tool (his drill I think) to widen the hole for the pin. I am so happy that you love your stand! Enjoy :)

This is the one video that I haven't made. My apologies. It is easiest with 2 people. I have done it by myself but it can be tricky. Are you able to use the Aeropilates on the floor until someone visits and can help?

Thank you so much for posting this video. I didn’t need help putting it together but I hadn’t realized there was a difference in size of the base for the head and foot. I couldn’t get my reformer to fit into the stand! That was a huge help!

I apologize for the late answer. All of the cords I have seen have the fabric bungee, the ones in the video are the bungee with fabric over them. It may look different because these are new and have different colors, but if you have all black cords, you still have a wonderful machine. When your machine is folded, do you have the plastic caps? If not, you may not have an official AeroPilates? But don't worry, any reformer will give a wonderful workout and bungees used on the AeroPilates, and similar reformers, are great for gaining strength, balance, and building muscle tone.

WOW!! Assembly of STAND looks like no problem, but I am alone. Are you able to put an aeropilates 5-Cord onto the STAND alone? I heard how you described taking the aeropilates off, which sounds do-able. I'm struggling with getting my aeropilates BACK ON THE TRACK, LOL. I'm laughing at myself, but persevering. Thank you! Absolutely, you would want to get the medium stand for that machine. That's perfect because they are still easy to find. The large stand is sold out for now. You could find it on Amazon, eBay, or stamina products website. You will love having the stand 😊

Because I just saw Marjolein old stand video on here and she mentions the stand and said there were two stands a narrower one for the 3 cord and a wider one for the 4 & 5 cords kzbin.info/www/bejne/fKjbk6eQiMeGhM0 I started to panic a little as I've just ordered my stand a medium for my 2004 four cord stand. Just as well that the large and medium stands are being sold for the same price now, in case i had to do an immediate switch and order the larger stand instead if I had ordered incorrectly. Phew! Your video is so valuable btw yours is the only one I have seen on here that shows the stand in its true form, thank you for that, as I had been wondering about it, how it comes can it fold etc...

Another great question. You "could" store the stand this way. Two things to note...the stand will be wobbly this way and you would have to be careful that it does not get knocked or it could fall easily. Also, it could warp or bend the joints of the stand if you are not able to store it straight up with support. I had to store my stand like that for 2 months while guests were staying with us. It was in a closet and supported, but before I moved it into the closet, it fell over a couple of times and started to bend one connection joint. It was fine, in the end, because I was able to hammer it back a bit. If you have a good spot for it, it should work well stood on its end. Thank you for the great questions. Which size stand does the 5 cord 5104 use? I live In Hawaii and I have been having a tougher time finding a reformer. The only one available is the 5104 from HSN.

Overstock .com used to ship to the UK and they carry the stand. They only have the stand for the smaller model (the 3 cord or HSN/QVC 4 cords) right now. I am not sure if shipping has changed because of the virus, but it is worth a look. You can add the stand to your cart, type in your address, and it should say if they will ship to you or not. Also, Amazon has started to ship overseas. Everyone is out of the large stand until summer, but if you have the smaller model, you may be able to get it soon. Please let me know if it works and keep me posted if you were able to get one sent to you. :)

Hi thanks for your quick response. I did however find a stamina aeropilates stand on eBay from BuyDig, based in Edison NJ...I paid for it before I looked at Overstock.com therefore it might have cost a bit more, but hey it’s an investment. I’m so pleased it’s arrived so quickly, now I can get back to using my very old 4285 3 corded machine 🤗

@@jubs2780 I am so glad that you found one! They are all pretty close in price, and you are correct, it is an investment! The 285 is a great machine! These machines don't wear out, so you can just change the cords if needed and you still have a wonderful machine. You will love being up off the floor. It makes the machine more inviting and easy to just jump on and workout. :)

Hey there, I am sorry that I have been offline for so long! How are you? Well, I have a video on how to get your machine back on the tracks. I will link it below... Hope you can get it back on and using it. :) If you go to this video, you have to jump to 13 minutes and 37 seconds. It will show 2 ways to put the carriage back on. If you watch it, you can decide which way works best for you and then replay it to get the carriage back on. If your back wheels are still on, you just lift the carriage up a bit, line the top wheels back up and roll them back in the track. Hope this one helps at 13 minutes and 37 seconds. I would respectfully disagree. I have learned that nearly everything that is said in these videos is USEFUL at some point in assembling, disassembly, maintaining and/or using the Aeropilates. Besides, if you truly dislike knowing all of the details of the operation, use the video controls and move beyond the "chit chat." It's not at all difficult, really. I appreciate that she doesn't just say, "these are the parts, you put them together, and POOF! you're done!" Differentiating among models, describing possible oversights or mistakes that can be avoided are useful to me sometimes.

Would be nice to see you actually get the machine onto the stand. The fact that you didn't do it, tells me that I should return that stand. I haven't put the stand together yet, but why can't you just move the stand into a closet? Does it fall apart when you got to move it?
