@@salmonstalker37you have to slap the strings with your thumb and then pull the strings with the others. Be aggressive with it

@@salmonstalker37 What really helped me is slapping through the strings. Let's say you want to slap the E string, you slap the E string with the side of your thumb (the little bone), and then your thumb should "rest" on the A string. It's not just slapping the string, but slapping through the string. Later on, learning to slap the bass like that will help you do the "double thumb" technique with more ease.
