Very good video,gg. I have a question btw: I have Templar too and i'm going to create a new Bloodmark Set for fighting Physical classes,it is better the one with Parry bonus + Crit manastones or the one with Block bonus + Block manastones?
@Neirocity10 жыл бұрын
Block. Parry doesn't work well unless you are fully geared with full composite manastones. Even then, it isn't even proven that Parry holds that much weight. Go with block if you really want a physical deterrent. :)

Neirocity thanks for the answer bro!

Tzimisce3 i believe bloodmark set will not be of extra use, maybe for fun , against bad geared melee classes..but for win..just get full aug 65..make composite /crit/mr/attack/accuracy..and u will pwn everything :D Nice videos :)

Great video, very entertaining, lots of impressive 2v1s. I've come to realize fighting vastly outnumbered as a templar, even vs not-so-geared or talented players, is a very difficult task. IMO I think you're a fantastic editor and the editing in the video is visually really cool, but for me it takes away from the PvP a majority of the time. Most of the fights are sped up and it's really difficult to tell what's going on. For example, the fight at the very end; yeah, it's a 1v5+ and I'm sure it was an epic fight, but other than seeing that you won a 1v5+ it is impossible to tell how you really did it. Constantly cutting away to show the animation clips in the middle of a fight also hurt it a lot, I think. Even during the short 1-2 second cutaways I found myself forgetting where the fight left off. Editing... it's an impossible balance, and perhaps I'm being harsh :P but only out of respect and my desire to see you produce something even better next time (lets be honest, this will not be your last video... lol)

Thanks for the nice response, I appreciate that. Now, as far as editing goes, my goal with this video was to make a very nostalgic video throughout. I'm not talking about my old vids, that's just the intro, I'm talking about presenting a few clips in a preview show that the viewer will later see in it's entirety, and often cases there's a lot more. As such, the speed of a lot of the clips was unavoidable simply based on the sheer amount of content I wanted to include. Secondly, video editing is my passion, I'm going to school for it and I spend great amounts of time on it. I understand that some people might have a hard time watching some clips like the last one (I'll get to that in a sec), but I'm not trying to sell out here, I'm making videos just like I always have in the style I prefer. Myself, I don't like watching 1x gameplay vids, so that's a direct reflection on how my own videos will be produced. Again apologies to some people who like slower videos, but there are vids out there that will be more appealing I guess. XD The animation clips I did for spice. When I go to edit one of these, I really don't want it to be "just another video" -- I want it to be something unique and special. That's why I go through great lengths on these to find cinematic techniques that will overlap onto a game such as Aion. And lastly about the last clip, that was a 1v7 clip with 12 kills, total time of the original file is 3 minutes 39 seconds. It's impossible for me to justify that much time for one scene in a video that is as fragmented as mine is. My goal with that clip was just to show utter chaos. Because I was killing a bunch of players who had no idea how to play the game. I wanted to just show death, destruction and carnage in a sped up, unfocused way and the only time the camera goes into focus is when someone dies. Again, thanks for your comments, I take every constructive criticism under advisement and it's people like you who took the time to write that, that I think is where I'm at right now. So again, big thanks.

@Neirocity10 жыл бұрын
Yea I know long intros aren't for everyone, but it was a special video, so I decided to make it worth the memories of my past volumes. I made a link that starts at 2 seconds, lasting several seconds, where you can skip right to 1:43 so you don't have to watch it if you don't want. It's completely optional ^^
