I yanked the nosewheel platform loose on mine. It was still attached, but I could get some space between the foam and plastic. I lightly misted both surfaces with water and liberally applied Gorilla Glue. Used clear packing tape to clamp it. Gently pulled the tape afer 24 hours. It is solid now. I would recommend doing this on a brand new one. It is stronger than the foam now. My son slammed her on the nose gear as well as the nose and it didn't budge.

Well done! That nose wheel is the only part that I have any complaints about.

I fly this for the military, as a remote control target… yes… and carbon cubs…I fly them, they shoot them down… I have a aero scout at home because I have to practice weekly, and fly in winds not recommended for any rc plane. Lol. I took all the wheels off and slathered a layer of silicone on the bottom as I have no runway, just bumpy dirt…. So I belly slide the landings. The silicone is a great shield and keep the belly from ripping up… just an idea if your hand launching and belly sliding. I also covered the nose cone and lawn darted it yesterday …. Lol it acted like rubber and bounced, no damage to the styrofoam…. Weight, yes… anything you add to anything increases weight… spread it out.

That is pretty awesome Tristan! I like your idea of dropping the wheels and coating the belly. If I damage it enough, I might go that route. I have to admit I kinda like rebuilding it too lol. Thanks for the tip!

Thank you for the video... And the laughs... Good to see that I'm not the only one who has lapses in good judgement... Tree, bush, mail box..... Stick with it, it does get better.... They say that someday experienced mode will be your friend.,..

I’ll keep at it Mark! What’s funny / pathetic is if I walked 10 mins to the end of the neighborhood, there is a nice open field I should be flying in. A neighbor keeps it somewhat mowed down too so I can use the road as a runway then lots of flying space.

Good fix. I added similar support underneath like you did. We will see how both of ours holds up or made it worse.

Find some open area to fly. Your neighbors will be great full.

A perfect video of the slow methodical destruction of your airplane....like being pecked to death by a duck.😂 keep em flying.

Hi yah buddy I think your mind set was if it doesn't move HIT IT hahahahaha now that was a thorough test........ If it stood up to that punishment it will stand up to everyday landings.... I completed my double wheel nose upgrade but have yet to test it.... STAY LUCKY Brian London
