"Fall down 7 times, get up 8." An angel in the early days of my own sobriety told me to keep it that simple. Another good one, "the number 1 rule of holes: when you find yourself in one, stop digging." We don't have to lose everything anymore because we have tools, and support of many who have walked the path ahead of us. Thank you Sober Dogs!!!

Consider this video a warning about how little it takes to get you back into doing drugs even after you've been clean for years. Addiction is never completely gone, it goes into remission like a cancer, it stays in you for life. You just have to try hard not to awaken the sleeping beast. I have heard of people refusing to take pain medication after a surgery after being addicted to it in the past, they'd rather deal with even the most excruciating post-OP pain than risk falling off the wagon.

The $50,000 rehab that doesn't work is a big part of Steven Tyler's carefully managed public persona...

50k for a rehab is absolutely insane, they better at least let you use your phone 😂

Imagine laughing at someone being forced into addiction by a surgery like it's a big joke. Bro probably woke up with demons long thought dead on his back tryin to kill his dream. But he will forever dream on.

seriously, if all the reporters use their brains, it's my belief that his ego will not allow, I think he is so old he needs physical rehab following the surgery. it's "cooler" in their minds to say it's drugs, I'm not drinking the kool-aid, he is just older than he will admit. his ego would rather allow him to be addicted than old. that's e en more sad.

You gotta tell doctor you don't want any opiods if you had a problem with them you know you shouldn't even fill the script.

So lame... This only perpetuates the negative stigma against these valuable medicines. Instead why not take the script and give it to someone more mature who can handle themselves, preferably a chronic pain sufferer who has restricted access to medicine because you chose to abuse it...

70 something years old. Time to grow up! I would never waste time or money to see them and then have that happen.

Isn't that weird? The Ego and narcissist most be so overwhelmed with I got to tour to make that extra 50 million in the bank. Just like the Rolling Stones have absolutely no business being on a stage. These guys are in there 70-80 years old. That's a young mans game. It's not love for the music it's for the money. Record sells don't exist anymore like it did in the 1960's-1990's. I never understood that at all. The last concert I went to was Type O Negative in 2008 then the singer Peter Steele died in April of 2010. A short story the first time I seen Type O Negative was in 2007 and the keyboard player Josh Silver wheeled Peter Steele out in a wheelchair that's how sick and tired the guy was at the time. Either it was a horrible joke or real I think both. Unless your in your 20"s I'll go early 30's you should not be on a tour bus playing on stage. All the drugs and drinking every night kills you quicker than anything really.

@@jesse-ll3dh I touched Bruce Springsteen's hand once. He jumped into the audience at 68 years old. Hahaha, that was my last big concert before I left obsolete America for a better future...
