Aerostar Checkout

Today I (Scott) flew down to New Jersey in the Comanche to get an insurance checkout to resume flying the Aerostar (after sitting for over a year). It was a very interesting day, we feathered the left engine and made a single engine landing. The pilot, Bob Pinto, has 22,000 hours and owns several Aerostars. Needless to say it was a learning experience that is fueling our Accu-Sim Aerostar in development. At the end I showed part of my logbook that I use for instructor based training and sign offs.
Today was the first time I flew in a different Aerostar, so it was great to have something to compare mine too.

Hopefully getting the Aerostar back in the air means a new Accusim aircraft soon. ;)

Been watching reruns of ''Ice Pilots: NWT'' the last while and it got me thinking, I'd love to see a Douglas DC-3 and DC-4 and maybe a Curtiss C-46 from A2A.

maybe a DC-7 C Seven Seas, or B-36 peacemaker, Convair 340, or maybe an update pack for L-049 with the L-1049...

Sorry I have to get some cameras and tap into the audio system so when there are things in the airplane to show, I'm not screaming over the engine volume
