Just so people know, DE is not the ones copyright claiming "We All Lift Together", it's a false copyright claimer named JASRAC who keep claiming this song as their own on every single instance of uploads we have been doing. Even when disputing it, they have not responded ever since the first VOD and youtube does nothing about it. We have contact with DE, but unfortunately it will not be part of this video. Range and strength build, makes his second faster and his 4th a mass murder ability. Volt is actually one of the top mass murder frames in the game, along with Saryn, Mesa, and Banshee.... If Banshee isn't completely nerfed to the point of being useless already, cause she got the worst nerfs in the history of Warframe nerfs, but even after that people could still make OP builds with her.

@@everythingsalright1121 Yea, that's the main reason a lot of new players end up dropping it quickly unfortunately. The game is great once you figure out what you're doing, but it can be super overwhelming until you do. I'm not sure of a good solution honestly, and they have definitely improved the experience a ton over the years, (as hard as that may be to believe), but it's hard sometimes to convince people to stick with it long enough to learn the systems.

Warframe back then also had a wallrunning mechanic but it was a lot clunkier than just coptering everywhere due to the terrain not being ideal. When they were originally redesigning the movement system, there was a much larger focus on wallrunning being more flexible. Instead of just running across the wall in a straight line you’d be able to jump from wall to wall, as well as change directions mid run and all that jazz. In fact, the Tomb of the Sentients trailer showcased what should have been close to a final version of the system, but they ended up changing it up significantly, scrapping most of the wallrunning mechanics in favor of bullet jumping and aimgliding I think it was a great choice tbh, being confined to walls for parkour would have been a lot more restrictive than the system we have today

watching Shen learn the movement system reminds me that the movement system as it exists today was an accident. people basically figured out glitches to move them across stages quickly and the devs looked at that and instead of taking away what players wanted to do, they reworked their movement system so anyone could easily fling themselves. iirc, it used to have a stamina system, and the flinging was done by using a specific weapon in a certain way called "helicoptering." the devs philosophy is to let the players have fun, not to "fix" potential "glitches" that benefit players. They pretty much only "nerf" things when there's an actual massive imbalance, such as a frame/weapon being massively over played or some system that hurts other player's fun. big reason i keep playing is because of the devs and hteir philosophy and practices.

using the twin ice axes which i forgor the name+sliding attack, if you did it right the movement of your slide attack(which is a spinning move, hence the helicopter part) you would fling yourself very far, turning you into a moving hitbox/flying blender

Fun fact, all the crazy jumping you can do was originally a bug, but DE kept it in because it was fun.

Not quite. The current movement system was very much intentional on DE's part (I was playing the game back when it was being worked on), the bug was something called Coptering, which let you exploit the physics system to launch yourself at high speeds with a slide attack using certain melee weapons. Coptering was patched out, but DE recognised that players liked the speed and mobility that it offered, so they developed and implemented the Bullet jump and other such manoeuvres as a replacement, and removed the stamina system while reworking the existing parkour system.

@ You're thinking of Super Jump, his old 3rd. Technically it could indeed be used in midair, but it didn't have the same animation as the double jump and I believe its momentum worked a bit strangely. I still remember one of the old events, which weakened your frame's powers each time you ran the mission. Eventually it got to the point where Super Jump was _shorter_ than a regular jump, which was fun. Kinda wish DE would add some more gimmick missions like that.

Pet alien dogs, cats, and robots that actually accompany you in missions and kill people? Yup. Semi-open worlds with semi-world bosses? Yup. Biomechanical jetpack wings to fly in space with giant guns? Yup. Ship-to-ship combat with giant Yamato lasers, Macross missile swarms, and multiple players crewing them? Yup. A Shadow of Mordor-style nemesis system? Yup. Actual semi-giant robot mechs you can pilot? You know it. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 with Back to the Future floating boards? Yup. Spear fishing? Yup, and you can keep the alien fish you catch as pets inside aquariums in your ship. Composing songs note-per-note to kill enemies with? Yup, my mate kills people with Haddaway's What is Love. A souls-styled roguelite mode? Yup. Plot-relevant, too. A clunky easter egg fighting game nobody plays? Yup. Flappy Bird and Gradius (edit: and Contra) as secret minigames? That too. Enough decorations for people to recreate entire kaiju battles and anime scenes in their ships and dojos with? Yup. Plot-relevant dating sim? Yup. Kissing scene included.

​@@fr0nk571On the subject of high level build absurdity, I love/hate how the lash augment Gara build is barely playable even on my 3080, 64GB ram, and 13900KF PC because as it turns out, covering the entire screen in spinning glass shards that have actual reflections enabled will bring almost literally any computer to its knees. I can run this game at 162 frames locked, until I bust out the glass tornado of doom and suddenly I'm struggling to break 30 frames and can't see a damn thing because of all the colored glass on the screen. Not the absolute most blinding build in the game (I think that might still involve Mirage or Nova) but probably the most brutally FPS chunking. I'm actually kind of scared to bring it into any multiplayer session because of the crash potential.

Honestly, it's not 100% super-duper accurate, but I've always viewed Warframe as basically being a third-person-shooter Megaman Zero game. You got lots of funny weapons, you've got schmoovement, you've got a world ravaged by war and destruction. Blasting through a Void/etc level while blaring Neo Arcadia in the BG is still one of the coolest feelings in any game I've played.

If I had a quarter for every F2P that its players consider absolute hell and absolutely worth it at the same time I would have 2 quarters, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice and that I play both of them and agree with the assessment. Fate Grand Order is the other one for anyone curious, and yes it is absolute hell and I would only recommend people to start playing it now if they only care about the story and take it very casually.

I have 600 hours logged on this game and I can tell you there are a bunch of laser beam guns that just destroy rooms. Like I'll point the weapon in a general direction and hold the trigger and everything just stops existing and its the best feeling ever. 10/10 game
