Shen i agree with you on the sentiment that the Warframe experience shouldn't just be the grind. This is someone who has never bought a frame off the market(with plat), only ever bought resources if they were reaaaaaaaaally necessary like Potatoes if i had the plat or the cash to spare. Most of the stuff i got was from the grind, be it a weapon, frame or item. When others equate a game to one facet of what makes it a whole, it just makes me upset that they just see it as a grindy game. Yes this game is grindy but it is so much more than just that, the Story is great, the gameplay is solid as hell from the melee to the ability play. I hope you have fun playing and if you ever need a Rhino with a giant spikey hammer in the late game (please take this at your own pace, i beg you. I wanna say sorry to you for all the backseating people are doing. This game is near and dear to my heart, I’ve been playing it for around 7 years now I think, and it made me so happy to see you playing it! Warframe in general doesn’t do a good job of explaining directions especially during old quests and even some of the new ones (They’ve had constant problems with the waypoint marker since like the beginning of the game) so don’t feel bad if you’re having a hard time understanding a section we’ve quite literally all been there. I just want you to be able to enjoy this game as much as I have so I hope you continue to play <333

After playing modern ffxiv, the old graphics are jarring

and so the saga begins, i enjoyed the stream. Can't wait until Shen get to the sacrifice (my favorite quest) I understand the presure and stuff worrying you, so i hope that it doesn't get too you too much. if people want to have perfect gameplay there are many more people out here who go over meta stuff, but shen is a newcomer and she also should enjoy the game her way, and she is doing great. As someone with way too many hours into this game, I struggled a lot back in the day, that sentient at 4:30:57 kicked my ass when i did the second dream the first time. There is no right way to play any game, And the gifts are fun too see, even if it's not how most people play. I think there are more people who enjoy seeing you open the gifts then there are who think you are "cheating". As for the backseating, while i can understand the desire of people to help, the game is out for a while so for a newcomer there are a LOT of systems and mechanics (Most of these are not too complicated, but there are so many), but I think your friends who played the game give you enough help to get through it. you are getting through most of the stuff pretty quickly, and if you are lost you can always ask one of your friends for help. Still i hope too see more of you play this, and wish you happy holidays.
