AESOP is an award-winning, indie film festival favourite, set in an alternative universe, where a world-dominating company, AESOP, has developed a pill that ends the aging process. This means that people will not age nor die of old age. Unfortunately, there is only enough for 88% of the population, so they must decide who gets it and who doesn't. Ruth works at AESOP, helping decide who gets the pill and who doesn't. She meets and falls in love with Marie, and eventually learns that Marie will not be eligible for the pill. The two must then make the most difficult decisions of their lives.

Its actually really good movie. I didn't expect this from a video posted on youtube for free. Its Netflix worthy. Its worth watching. Its is funny, light hearted and filled with suspense.

i feel genuinely surprised on how objective they got with the main plot, i never really expected a film to talk so openly about this matter, not after gattaca anyway. And the fact that we got to see a romance, even amidst all the chaos, they remained pure and by each other's side. Overall, this might be one of the most clever films i've ever watched, congratulations on all the crew and thank you for making it available for everyone!

There is a real plot going on in the real world but they are killing people not just hiding a pill of eternal life. This film has a lot of negative primacy.

I absolutely was entranced by this film as I am a kind of sci fi buff and dystopia type films I feel fall into that category. Erin and Nicole were amazing together, that mix of stoic intellectual woman merging with the clever smart and bubbly gal. There was plenty of Nicole's cleverness and smartness that she kept me guessing what was coming next! The ending was as expected, yet showed how they were not going to let, what they knew was coming, hinder their last few moments together which they wanted to be as normal as possible as they knew the waiting for the knock was coming sooner rather than later. And I liked to give a shout out to Asha Iwanowicz who did a wonderful job creating the original music, it was beautiful. Thanks for posting this great movie.

I write this prior to watching the ending. The one thing about using any strict algorithm to decide who stays and who goes, is that for humans to ever realize their full potential, that potential has to include the ability to make exceptions. I love this movie! I hope I like the ending.
