It frustrates me that nobody I know will take the time like we do to understand the level of achievement being attained by Aes. I try to get people to listen and it’s like pulling teeth. Thank you for breaking this down with us as I discovered more things I hadn’t uncovered in my past 5 years of heavy rotation of this album. It’s unbelievable.

He raps out little scenes, he paints a collage in your brain and you have to be able to enjoy all the little brush strokes to soak in the pictures he paints. All the bars stack up together qnd creat qn amazing landscape. You have to have q good minds eye to see it all. If you cant keep up with the imagery you won't fully appreciate him. I think your right, it take work. You have to listen to him a lot to start getting the ability to see everything. Like a 3d eye cross picture. You have to really listen.

The deliberate choice of Hecate is interesting too. It's not just another witchy reference. In the Greek story where Demeter's daughter, Persephone, is whisked away to the underworld, Hecate is chosen to help by searching through the darkness with two torches. This lines up with the narrative Aes presents in the following verse of the search party looking for him, isolated from his family.

This is a great series and I hate to keep nitpicking but in beatmaking is an 808, there is also this weird layer wear 88 means hail Hitler 🤷🏿‍♂️ by no means am I trying to say the man is a Nazi, even though in context he could have an extremist militant type of stance 🤷🏿‍♂️ oh and in the line about skinning a cat there's supposed to be a million different ways to do it but he said that Christ's children still insisted has to be done one specific way
