Extended Universe is so overdone though. So far it looks like a money play by putting good-looking people through the motions, and for the sake of the artists we should be honest if that's the case. If the board room doesn't come up with good storytelling to justify all the fuss it can reflect badly on the artists who just had to go along with it because that's where they work. Or everyone eats it up thoughtless that it's hollow and formulaic and exists to sell merch and I have to block off everything SM. I'd like to see something that diverts me from either of those futures.
