Thank you Bob for this valuable presentation. The information goes to the core of analogue and digital processing and so important to broaden the understanding of Harmonics. I have worked for the Dutch radio many years and now have a small home studio active in Remastering and Tape Media Audio Restoration. This fact that the Plugins cause ailising is of course one of the problems in digital domain. The other worth investigating is differences in Harmonics between AKM and BurrBrown semiconductors. This is most noticable in acoustic instuments, even non- Western. Lastly there differences between DAW's, e.g. mastering discussion Mandy Parnell. I notice differences between Nuendo (PC Platform) and Logic (Mac-Non Intell Platform). Thank you for your attention

how can you compare those 2 tracks when one is heavily more limited/compressed? Not saying the statements are false, but should we not be more careful when trying to decide for that matter?

You need a better tape emulation plugin.
