Black buggy with orange suspension=badass. The way they got the angles threw me off for a few minutes. I admit I had to rewind a couple times just to be sure I was seeing it right lol
@Spywell14 жыл бұрын
I like the Orange suspension, it's just like the new RAM. Cant wait to see what kind of aftermarket suspension comes out for those trucks.
@MadRam1114 жыл бұрын
It is a 4.3 with a Turbo but it runs strictly on Propane no Gas. IT IS NOT A DIESEL!!!!!

@djad54 in a lot of these buggies you can control it seperate from the front, most have a hydraulic vavle in there that lets you turn the rear wheels

@broncozilla1 We tend to wheel all year long. The best wheeling is in the fall when it isn't so hot. Most riding we do is in Tennessee and Alabama. If you are serious about coming over send me a message and maybe I can help you out.

@MadRam11 cheer man. Im not pretending to now anything about these vehicals. I havnt even seen one in real life haha.. thanks for the answer
@gilly87S15 жыл бұрын
Good spot on the propane tank, the green buggy is running a turbo diesel. here the whine after throttle is applied? The propane is injected in along with the combustion charge much like nitrous would be in a gasoline motor ( not really the same thing but good analogy to start with)
@willyford13 жыл бұрын
that sound is SOOOO Freakin coolll
@Dootindahouse14 жыл бұрын
awesome, those are some serious 4x4's

All matters in what you put into it, whether you do the work yourself, buy one already completed, or have a shop do the work for you... you could spend anywhere from 5000 dollars to 50,000+ easy
@MPovilas13 жыл бұрын
first's buggies sound is sooooo nice :O
@markssite14 жыл бұрын
There is this crazy physical phenomenon when big tires with big widely spaced knobs spin at a certain speed they appear to stand still...does that answer any questions about lockers? if not then these trucks wouldnt have ever made it up these hills so the answer is yes they do have lockers. Athough the drivers need to stop being afraid and just go for it.
@sockervad15 жыл бұрын

@MadRam11 ohhh. thats sweet!
@corentinoger13 жыл бұрын
@unicyclerider15 Oh yes, now that you say it, I think you're right : the bars have differents length, so I guess it's meant to be un symmetrical, maybe they want a bit more space on the right for the gear stick.
@MadRam1114 жыл бұрын
No diesel just a v6 with a Turbo.
@GullRazz15 жыл бұрын
sounded more like a supercharger to me, but im no expert on this :P

the yellow sided one burnin rubber on the rock
@bdhinks14 жыл бұрын
That green machine is bad ass
@afsisasotk15 жыл бұрын
Yeah the side lugs look like TSLs but the center lugs dont resemble them at all. Not even tread cut ones. and the tread itself seems too narrow. TSLs have a bigger foot print
@biggray9414 жыл бұрын
nice stuff
@TheBorudo13 жыл бұрын
hey boyz! what brand of these tires? nice video. thanks
@MadRam1113 жыл бұрын
@camius1 yeah some of them run off of Propane
@pleco65213 жыл бұрын
@TheWerewolf360 most people build them from the frame up. im sure there are some for sale though
@sandman50315 жыл бұрын
my post was a reply to "keg o gasoline?" sure we dont know what it is but porpane is the more common application. the whistle sounds like an SC to me not a turbo. anyways, thats not what i was talking about.
@firmclock13 жыл бұрын

does the second one have a bent frame or is that the way it was built?
@MTBGil14 жыл бұрын
On The first rig, the green one, What are the specs? whats the motor hes running. I would appreciate it if you could help me out, im looking for a diesel motor but cant find a good small one, this one seems fair.
@YELLOW08Z0612 жыл бұрын
Nice sir. What kind of tires are those?
@butlerproman13 жыл бұрын
So what was the reasoning behind running on propane? Cost? Environmental concerns? Power characteristics? Just because? This is the first I've seen of propane powered rock crawlers.
@subcon2x14 жыл бұрын
@marsh1791 they probably are running lower pressure but when you run tires that are that big, 50psi or 2psi still looks the same
@farta6312 жыл бұрын
someone tell me who owns the project buggy black and orange? what kind of engine and gearbox was used, thanks you
@jamesrichardson6315 жыл бұрын
your exactly right
@calvinculpalt13 жыл бұрын
@MadRam11 What kind of boost are you building? I wouldn't imagine a whole lot.
@ShawnScaggs15 жыл бұрын
Propane is not making the whistling sound. It some type of supercharger or turbo. We all can see the tank mounted on the back. But that could be Natural gas, Hydrogen, Propane, or could even be gasoline in it fooling everyone.
@andyfederman14 жыл бұрын
You guys need rockwells and that turbo diesel to get up everything. Get like shake and bake.
@djad5413 жыл бұрын
this may sound really dumb but can you controll the front and real wheels steering independantly?
@bimatralala13 жыл бұрын
yeah,great car....
@theking1208913 жыл бұрын
are those swamper TSL"S if so how did you guys groove those thats nice

@miketheredneckable 1500 bucks for one that has 100k miles on it is a really good deal, what motor design is it? im assuming its a 12v?.

cool sound
@MadRam1112 жыл бұрын
They are custom cut TSL Super Swampers
@howtowakeakar14 жыл бұрын
@lilclown830 I always thought they'd have an automatic, as there'd be less sudden stress on the drivetrain.
@unicyclerider1513 жыл бұрын
@z98908 im not 100% sure, but actually you look closer i think its not bent but it looks like it was just designed and built like that, un-symmitrically
@MadDAD210 жыл бұрын
sweet
@BigMike01213 жыл бұрын
@MadRam11 ahh good this answers one question...the next is does it last longer than gas???

at 3:00 what us the name of a buggy like that is it just a frame welded together or ...? and what are the tanks for in the back?
@Dominic1014313 жыл бұрын
its funny the orange one just stalls half way out
@DRTMaverick13 жыл бұрын
Have you rolled it yet? How does the cage handle?
@corentinoger13 жыл бұрын
@DRTMaverick If you look at the 2nd one, starting at 1:36 the cage looks is pretty twisted, either he rolled or he was stamped by an elephant.
@K20wheeler14 жыл бұрын
