I don't blame AEW for changing the clause. It was kinda shitty for Stephanie Vaquer to jumped ship to WWE like that when she was CMLL and NJPW champions. Because WWE needed her for the July live event in Mexico. Vaquer was put in a tough decision. She did stated she wanted to do the right thing, but WWE said no. Also, she didn't notify CMLL and NJPW that WWE offered her a deal after AEW Forbidden Door. If New Japan and CMLL knew about earlier, CMLL would've had her drop the titles to Tessa Blanchard and Lluvia, and NJPW would've remove Vaquer from their advertisement. It's like Vaquer told CMLL and NJPW in a last minute. So yes, Vaquer and WWE are at fault.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling 2 day event was such a good watch. The AEW Vs. TNA matches were fantastic. It is good to see AEW and TNA talent working together. That Maple Leaf show elevated all wrestlers involved and all promotions involved. Don Callis And Scott D'Amore put on an entertaining show. The focus was on pro wrestling like it is supposed to be. The matches were given good time. Both matches with Konosuke Takeshita were top notch. "Speedball" Mike Bailey put on a show. The commentating was even top notch.

@@Mr.Majestic77 I don't know if they plan on creating an actual roster, but this idea of bringing talent together from a lot of different promotions without having to have them signed to their company, kind of like the first ALL IN before AEW was formed is very interesting. Imagine WWE sending people to Maple Leaf Pro for a show and have them challenge AEW talent. This could be the key to WWE Vs. AEW talent happening. They could be on to something. I could see them getting a streaming or TV deal down the road. I'm sure Scott D'Amore has many connections.

One minute you're excited about cross-promotional partnerships and the next you're saying don't put someone on your show who is not contracted to your company.......but that's exactly the point of these partnerships! lol Perhaps TK was aware of Vaquer's imminent free agency and booked her as a way to try to entice her to sign with AEW. I don't see her signing with WWE as AEW getting screwed over. Sure, she helps either company's women's division but she also doesn't move the needle for either of them. We're not talking about a Lebron James taking his talents to Miami kind of situation here. These partnerships are making pro wrestling better and helped revive an industry that had been bland for two decades. Imagine a situation where WWE and AEW enter a partnership and we get Cody showing up on Dynamite to confront Kenny and the Bucks. Imagine a situation where Moxley shows up on Raw and takes out Rollins with a chair shot or we get a Bullet Club Civil War in a War Games match involving some combination of Tama, Tonga, Balor, Good Bros., Bucks, Kenny, Cody, Styles, Switchblade, Cole, Juice, Hangman, and whoever else I may be forgetting who was at one time a member and is currently contracted to one of the two companies. Point is, this will happen again but it shouldn't stop them from booking someone on their shows who is not contracted to them. It worked out well for TK when it came to Ospreay and Okada. You win some, you lose some.

I think the contract was probably made based on CmL and new Japan side because AEW talent is there to pick for wwe to get all year round. On CMLL is probably a bit embarrassed that they had to present a no show to some of thier events and change the title trajectory just because of one match.

After all the hype with Stephanie Vaquer, she will end up on an irrelevant tag team on SmackDown and get lost in the shuffle and have no creative, because she won't be able to do in ring promos when she can't speak English almost at all. She will be another Jade Cargill. All that hype, and she hasn't even made a sniff at a singles belt yet. She has been stuck in a tag team for year.

NXT is not mainstream, its developmental. If someone chooses to move from AEW to NXT, thats a demotion.

Tony Kahn is full of crap. Part of his original sales pitch was he wouldn't make wrestlers stay and now he has gone 180. Now it's adding on time, if they don't want to be there all that does is burn a bridge and make other talent notice. On top of that possibly adding clauses that even Vince wouldn't do. Worry about you 3000 and less fans in attendance and worry about NXT now beating you in the ratings with mostly no names. Not to mention you got Page and Spears hanging around the main event.
