Wrestling was built on squash matches. You need 'em. They get guys/girls over, you don't end up w/ half your roster losing, and it puts the focus on the angles, personalities, & promos. Then the marquee matches literally become must see. How it should be. And you get to see your favorites win like you said. IDK when that became such a bad thing.

Yeah it'd be great if they work primarily as a tag team for the next few months. I think they could have a really good match with Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc. Classic faces and heels, with Sonny and Kip going at it to see whose for the best flashy offense, while Joey and Jimmy are pummeling each other hardcore style.

Interesting to compare what they're doing with both Brandon Cutler and Peter Avalon. They both lost, but Cutler brutalised Michael Nakazawa and only lost by carelessness and overconfidence, while Avalon had a tougher opponent in Jungle Boy and was made to look more technically sound, but still lost clean after heelish antics backfired on him. You can tell this is building to an eventual clash between the two where ONE of them will have to get their first win (unless AEW decided to yank our chains a bit longer by having it go to a No Contest), which will actually make for an interesting clash of styles. Credit to AEW for getting us so invested in the careers of a couple of 0-win jobbers. I do wish Marko Stunt hadn't forcibly kissed Leva, though, that's twice AEW has done that old-school thing where babyfaces force kisses on heel women, and it really doesn't fly these days- not _everything_ in the old school was good. Also they're really going to have to start giving these jobbers some wins, even if it's only against each other. Even Tazz was pointing out that there's not really much of a reason to respect Lee Johnson when he's 0-7. We all know in advance that the jobbers are going to lose to the main roster wrestlers, but if they had at least a record of 1-5 it'd be easier to suspend our disbelief. Seriously, AEW has such a big roster of by now well-established jobbers that they really should start rounding them out a bit by letting them wrestle each other.

I have been a huge fan from the beginning. I can say I have been blown away by Lance Archer dude is extremely talented. Double or nothing was off the charts! Shawn Spears I have been a fan a long time and have commented before, just wanted to say I hope your push comes. I mean a huge push. When you used the sharpshooter a few weeks back it was like a switch flipped. I’d like to see “Serious” Shawn Spears the guy who’s all business win or die, lock on that sharpshooter dude to the top.
