Excellent review. John and Wai always give reviews that are thoughtful and objective. The show got off to a slow start with the first two matches but the performances in both matches were still very good. As mentioned, the show became increasingly better with Mercedes vs Statlander. Ospreay vs Fletcher lived up to expectations and was match of the night. The post-main event chaos was too much for me. However, chaos in wrestling often generates interest and the overarching story is built on chaos, so I understand why they went in that direction. I think Ricochet should join The Hurt Syndicate. They’ve already shown that he wears suits well and he needs a purpose. Overall, it was an excellent with some expected flaws based on recent booking.
