He’s a hypocrite which actually makes him worse than the first offender because it shows he’s a weak person bc he can’t rise above shady behavior. 2. He also is very random about who he allows to leave and who he decides to hold hostage. 3. He’s also hurting AEW talent relations; if you are a talent would you want to resign long term knowing how many wrestlers are stuck hostage? Not sure about the mentality of letting people go who don’t want to be there. They should really look into why those people don’t want to be there. If they have legitimate gripe that they have great potential but are not being used properly, then a mature action is to look at whether or not they’re doing wrong by the wrestlers that want to leave. Everyone cannot shine and be pushed at the same time. For some, it will take time. But if those wrestlers feel that their time will come and they just have to be patient, then they might stick around. Also, the fans’ patience is a factor too. If they want certain wrestlers pushed and Tony refuse to push them in favor of others, then that’s a factor too. That goes for WWE as well. Is it the company not doing right by the wrestlers or the wrestlers not really panning out or not having that “it” factor that the company’s looking for or backstage politics, business and drama or the fans not feeling the wrestler no matter what or we need multiple trial and errors with a certain wrestler before they call it quits on them etc etc etc. A lot of moving parts.
