This is why I love having AEW around. I don't give a damn what anybody says I love having another alternative since WCW. It makes the wrestling world better, I have nothing against WWE I'm just so glad we have another alternative to turn too. Swerve got to the top by being willing to do anything and everything. Kids these days dont want to put away chairs, or pick up trash, they dont want to say "hey I will do this humiliating spot if it means I get on TV and show my ability to do so." They're too focused on getting to the top and dont want to put in the work. Swerve has done well for himself and I was sad to see his childhood home get burned down just as he finally had the funds to buy it. (Yes I know what Kayfabe is.)

What he said about being put in a place where he has to do stuff like laundry and buy plane tickets, etc... That's so important as a young adult transitioning out of the home the military did that for me too and it was life changing. It's not as simple as he may have made it sound I know it holds deeper meaning to him as it does myself it gives you discipline and direction that is so important!

Don’t watch wrestling anymore, but he’s giving a mix or hybrid of Triple H & Mr. trouble in paradise - Kofi Kingston type vibes. Just off interview/aesthetics… not sure of the athleticism etc. (This is dope. The likes of Mark Henry, Booker T etc etc. had to claw and fight for his path to be eased), nice to see it shows he appreciates those before him. And, understands the trajectory to what has got him here, or allowed for his ascent. Might have to checkout AEW randomly 😂

Trust me, If you wanted to check out his matches, watch his matches with Hangman Page. And also the biggest match of his career vs Bryan Danielson at All In (AEWs biggest show). He’s considered the most dangerous man in AEW.
