I’m as skeptical of Velveteen Dream as anyone else is, but whenever you bring up the talking to minors part, I feel like it should always be important to note it was never proven even with an investigation. Does it mean he’s for sure not guilty and should be brought back? No. But these are *very* serious allegations and it feels wrong to paint him in that picture if it was never actually proven.

Back when AEW first started in 2019 and around the first year, the talents I was looking out for was Darby Allin, MJF, Max Caster, Sammy Guevara, Ricky Starks, Velveteen Dream, LA Knight and Cameron Grimes. There are a few that were obviously going to be stars like Adam Cole, but when AEW first got going, these were the talents I had my eye on. Darby and Cody going to a tie, a nobody? Against the industries sweetheart? Cody put Darby on the map, but DARBY got Darby over. He put his body and his soul on the line out there, and it's paid off. MJF seemed to overplay the heel schtick at first, like it was obviously a work. But he's just so good at it, everyone knew he was going to be more than Cody's lackey. Max Caster, when I seen him during the Battle Royale, this guy just reminded me of early Ron Simmons. Plus his charisma just carries this guy, he's got the flair to be a star. I didn't think Anthony Bowens was anything special at first because he looks so normal. Like a create a character before you actually do any creating. Glad I was wrong about Bowens. And Ricky Starks, this guy was it. I was so hyped when he was teased for Cody's TNT Open Challenge because I seen him in NWA and he's just good. He gets the business and if given the chance, he could be like LA Knight. Sammy Guevara, this guy hasn't really broken any ground yet. He's basically ridden Jerichos wave ever since Cody signed this man and gave him his first opportunity, Sammy was a Cody guy before Jericho snatched him and took all the credit. But Sammy reminded me of a young Eddie Guerrero back in the WCW days, he just moves so fluidly and he had that charisma about him. But his attitude nowadays is holding him back, he's just hard headed and doesn't like being directed in any form or fashion.
