This should have been how the stock exhaust looked. Maybe a little bit upswept with that same end can shape would have been nicer. Sounds also good. Also did you go for stainless steel or mild steel option because the price difference is quite significant

Yes .2 bolts one 10mm and one 12 mm must be removed before you can remove the exhaust to remove axle

I really loved the new exhaust, esp how it lowers the angle. Let us know if u brought the rear foot peg down as u said in this video. That was one serious complaint i had in the design of this bike wen i did a test ride with a pillion.

A few rust spots at the bottom leading edge of the 'bottle' I dint care enough to clean the mud off , still on the bike ,still good ,a bit louder now that it ran abt 30,000kms

Nice. Did you use the stock gasket from the stock muffler? I have got S&S pipes and the gaskets are not available as of today. Hence wanted to know if the gasket were okay when you removed the stock one?

No I prefer never to reuse the gasket between mufflers as swapping them will be easier...anyway the aew is a PERFECT FIT it comes with a thin shim just to prevent any air leak at the joint

How you found the exhaust sound? The one with db killer seems to sound like the stock exhaust?

Yes with the DB killer it is very similar to stock , however you will hear some burble on the overrun, the sound without the db killer is perfect deep without being loud.. even the passengers enjoy the long trips without hurting their ears... the camera vibrates due to the bass

Hope the engine now is stress free and definitely has an increased top speed! How about the hill drives...more than frequent gear changes needed than before, since it would have lost some torque nature from OE smaller sprocket ...?

@@mohinprakash it suits my riding style I don't shift till about 3k 3.5k rpm. Hills no issues.dint test speed I don't care much about top. But I really want to hold high average speed and this sprocket also increases the mileage at my riding speed of 80 around..

I did the same sprocket change tech to all my previous owned bikes including Yamaha RX all series and even in Bajaj Avenger , and finally did the same big sprocket/smaller rear sprocket setup on my last owned RE Electra, and as u mentioned, enjoy the free wheeling stress free nature of the engine , in highways , along with a nice marginal increase of fuel efficiency , if driven under normal driving conditions 👍
