Easily the best match Kommander has ever had. It feels like he's come a long way from being a one trick Lucha pony when he first came to AEW. He is adapting to the American style very well. So like any other sport they have tiebreakers when people or teams finish on level points. In wrestling you can’t do things like most goals scored, so the go to tie breaker his head to head results, Ospreay beat Claudio earlier in the tournament so Ospreay advances. They explained it multiple times throughout this tournament and last years given they also had a tie in the blocks last year

The two leagues are round robin. Komander's win keeps Claudio out of the finals. It gives Komander momentum for scoring a win against one of the Death Riders. It also pushes Darby's ongoing story. The way they had this go also protects Claudio's rep. This is clever work.
