This is great for a number of reasons. MJF is still rather raw talent. He's still learning he's young but a prodigy. He needs to work with guys like double J. He can learn so much. Double J for his final run needs guys like MJF to elevate him as MJF is a star in AEW. So Jeff can help MJF evolve. MJF helps get Jarrett to the main event status cause beating MJF will leap frog him up there. Even if MJF wins this feud that is Jeff putting a younger guy over. THis is win win no matter how they end it.

When Jarrett cut his promo last week about high risk vs high reward, I assumed it would lead to Jarrett feuding with a young heel to put over. MJF would be the perfect guy to feud with Jarrett and eventually force Double J into retirement.
