Is Tesla red light jump autopilot intervention?
@SteveLoughran12 күн бұрын
Probably took the actions of the cyclist in front as a cue. I suspect the cyclist did it so that they could get across that junction more safely - like those little green lights for cyclist they have elsewhere maybe they should have them here as it is such an awful junction. That said there are recent stories in the US are about Waymo, google's self driving taxi service. Apparently the cars have been programmed to drive worse - not stopping for pedestrians et cetera because they were losing customers to Uber. Legal and safe driving was making them too slow and customers were complaining about how long it took compared to the bad taxi drivers. This highlights that autonomous cars can drive safer than Uber drivers -but also help commercial pressure is forcing the autonomous vehicle manufacturers to actually implement bad driving. That's a Google of course - musk has fewer ethical concerns and did this a long time ago

I can't fathom being confused by the combination of a few bright red lights and a moving cyclist. On further review, it looks like the driver who almost followed the cyclist through the red, was looking down at his lap a lot before hand...
@OhShiitakeMushrooms12 күн бұрын
2:00. That right there was kind of my point I made yesterday on another video of Mike’s that, unfortunately Mike can only report the driver running that red light. ( driver likely ran the red light by mistake because they were just following the actions of the cyclist. Notice the second white car nearly made that same mistake but realized light was still red. ) since the cyclist doesn’t have any form of public identification unlike a vehicle, the cyclist unfortunately can’t be reported. So therefore, the bad cyclist will just get away with their actions as usual. kind of frustrating seeing that. How can bad cyclist be reported if they don’t have any information such as tags to identify them? Good video Mike. 👍

Other things people do there like eating a bowl of food -no mention. Same for the whole of Gloucester Road and Whiteladies road on a weekday. You would get other people covering the other traffic jams. Maybe even motorbikes on the M32. What our Police really should do is give a £10 bounty for every successful conviction.
