Nonsense. He's not Roy Hodgson. He needs another 3/4 similar contracts later down the line. If he screws this up his career is over. He came to West ham as a stepping stone, hoping this club would reignite his career, not destroy it.

I have stated for a long time now. We should be playing Kudus up front as centre forward! He has played there before and Bowen is best on the right with Summerville on the left! My opinion only Frankie! 👍😀⚒⚒⚒

He has played there before and so has bowen and bowen has done much better there I a much tougher league scoring doubk digits goals. I don't know where you westham fans think kudus can do well as a number 9 than bowen but he can't. I number 9 has to pick pockets spaces which bowen does kudus won't do that, he will want the ball and will take on players which he will loose balls du to the middle being crowded and that will be a problem. Yo can't force him to not dribble because that's what he does best, if you force him to stop dribbling he will be useless ii the team because he isn't a player who runs into spaces and he want tge ball,it will be like mbape at madrid, instead of making uns he will want the ball, bowen on the other hand will akethe rubs and doesn't want the ball that much whh is why even mites played him uptopand he perform better than kudus did up top in weaker league

@@Bra_wroboht What you are stating may be a reasonable assumption, however Bowen if definitely better on the right wing ( there should be no debate on that), and Summerville is better on the left! If we could have someone like Geoff Hurst as a number 9 great until then we have to massage the team dynamics and positions to suit what we have available. Bowen is not perfect as a centre forward with the team we have just now. Tactics don’t help him also! 😀⚒⚒⚒

@@BJ-WHU neither is kudus but bowen is better up top and that is a fact than kudus, plus the only tine bowen scored 20 goals was upfront, bowen doesn't take onplayers like wingers do, he doesn't cause chaos like wingers do, he is more of in the right place at the right time. So who in his right sense would play kudus who can create spaces with his dribbling and isn't afraid to be cornered against defenders upfront and play bowen who is better at occupying spaces like a false on the wings?? You westham fans keep on shouting about a striker being able to hold up play like we are playing 1800s football, firminho was one of the best false 9s how many times did you see him hold up play?? There is a reason there is a false attached to the 9. Jackson is playing as a typical number9 how many times does he hold up play?? The fact also is that kidus can't play as a false 9 as apart from messi, every false 9 on history is selfless, kudus isn't. He will dribble alot because that is how he is. And another fact is kudus is better at taking onplayers than anyone in the team and he can't do that in the middle of the pitch because he will be crowded and even if he is able to try ge will loose the ball alot, the best will be to get him 1v1 with a fullback where he takes him on and lays it down for bowen, another fact is putting kudus as a false 9 will be you rendering him useless since he won't be able to do what he does best

Cherries fan in peace. We all have our favourite players etc but I look at the West Ham team and the way they are playing, and only Bowen would make it into the Bournemouth lineup. Cherries are playing stunning and aggressive football under Iraola and these are halcyon days for our little tin pot club before the big six vultures come swooping in for Kerkez, Semenyo, Zabarnyi. We might get a Europa conference spot if we maintain our form and being a upper mid table team will always have duff performances in our playbook. But they have become far and between. West Ham have got to be on top form to get something. They did at Newcastle but Cherries are a better team than the magpies. Best of luck for the rest of the season (after Monday night)

I watched the press conference too and it was under 10 minutes long and very much controlled by the club and featured only one journalist. I’m not sure if this means anything regarding Lopetegui’s future or not? Also he was looking like he’s sleeping rough again.
