The Jets had the third highest pressure/blitz ratio since they started tracking that statistic in 2003 (The Giants had a better one around 2011, and I can't remember the other team). They were tied for the lowest percentage of plays with extra men sent, and tied for the highest percentage of QB pressures. If we were just measuring the pass rush, the Jets would run away with it, but they're not as good against the run.

Dolphins defense will look completely different this season compared to the last three years and especially last year! Fangio will be asking Wilkins to penetrate O lines far more than the Flores gap control! Wilkins has been fantastic for the Dolphins already! He will be elite this season 💯! D is still very suspect. It would be one thing for Ramsey to have gone elsewhere, but the one team the Fish are chasing have absolutely torched Ramsey & Howard throughout there careers. Allen and Co put 50 on an appreciably better Fangio D in Denver a few back, so no-the moves the Fish made, not to mention Wilkins & Co won’t be enough to slow down Buffalo…

There all really great lines. all 4 teams have elite lines. 1. A Buffalo Miller and Roseau(could be a break out year for him), with Oliver, Ford, and our backups are all starters on other teams. 1 .B Miami has Phillips that's emerging and have that stud DT in the Middle. 1. C New Jersey - Off potential this line could be the best in the division. 2. New England - not as elite, but very solid.

Don't need potential for the jets. Last year rushed just four one of the most in the league yet had one of the highest pressure rates in the league. By the numbers the jets dline did work. Quinnen Williams was an all pro last year. Rest of DT spotty but DE depth is ridiculously good.

@@acandela1294 Well, I look at your young DE's and see the potential to be three down DE's, both studs. Gotta develop them, and see. Both 1st rounders could be the best duo in the league for years. Buffalo Rousaeu off last season, is about to break out, he's gonna have a huge year, thinking 15 sacks. Miller might have 10. But Epensea and Basham have the potential to give the Bills 15 sacks combined. Oliver and Ford, Plus Phillips gonna be getting 15 combined, maybe more. Buffalo isn't built to stop the run, they like their offense to get up two scores and unleash their pass rush, so they can run up the score. Take that away, you can control the game running the ball on them, unless Buffalo commits to run stopping, which they don't like to do.

@@midnighthoodstrikesback right but in that case buffalo is about potential. Jets to me have potential and floor. Lawson JFM and quinnen are decent any down guys. Woods, Johnson and Clemons are great vs the run with the latter two potential for pass rush but not there yet. Huff Jefferson and McDonald all are pass rush specialists who will be out there on third and longs. Only soloman Thomas is not good at something he's just a rest for quinnen. Jets coaches used guys to their strengths last year and it worked. This year Lawson has another year removed from acl, while the young guys had a year to mature. Dline could be even better. Only thing is quinnen needs to stay healthy for the DT spot

Not nearly as important as the QB position, but the Jets are first here. Bills second. The other two round out the East. The importance of Josh Allen cannot be underestimated in this division or conference. He & Mahomes are truly the most dynamic and game changing players in the NFL, no one on the East has a player on the level of Allen, nowhere close.

greg rousseau was out 2 or 3 games last season with a ankle injury don't forget that. Ans the depth part, didn't work cuz depth was hurt as well oliver also was our a few games for ankle, Phillips had hamstring and then a shoulder injury, joens missed the bengals game to something, but that's why it didn't look like there was depth.

I've noticed Dolphins fans are the most delusion and casual fanbase in the entire NFL, almost all of y'all are disconnected from reality. 2 top 8 DTs is a joke, Wilkins is up there I give you that but neither Seiler or Davis is anywhere near that territory. Excellent roleplayers but there are too many DTs just better. Donald, Quinnen, Chris Jones, Dexter Lawrence, Wilkins, Jarrett, Heyward, Jeffrey Simmons, Buckner, Jonathon Allen, DJ Reader. No one else on the Phins is sniffing the top 10 DTs, let alone 8. Phillips is top 10 with top 5 potential, I'll give you that. He needs to prove he can be elite consistently. Bradley Chubb is a fine player but his name is way bigger than his game. JFM, Carl Lawson, Josh Uche, and Judon are all better than Chubb. All in all that gives you two DL that are top 10 at their position, but neither in the super elite tier. Plenty of depth too with Sieler, Davis, Van Ginkel, and Ogbah but that depth isn't as strong as Jets and its less top-end talent than the Bills. Looks like a very good top 10 DL, but not top 5 like Jets and Bills.

This was the most disrespect I ever seen towards the dolphins, philips a emerging superstar barley 23 year old not even in his prime, 26 year old Bradley chubb coming back with Vic fangio system, Christian Wilkins one of best run stuffers in league breaking records for tackles last season, selizer one of most underrated DT in league, and Emanual ogbah had double digit sacks in 2021 and got injured last year who is coming back, the amount of young talent just hitting their prime on this d line is insane. You really wouldn't be wrong picking 1 line over the others, because there all elite lines. You could make a case for each line, and you wouldn't be wrong, because there all great. Give any of these lines with Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, you're winning a super bowl. That's how stack the lines are in the east, I'd rate them the best in the NFL, all of them might be top 10, minus New England who I'd rate in the top 15, which isn't bad either.
