awesome video. Thanks for adding the pictures of the exact harness that needs to be removed.

@NitroZ18 Fishing Question, Is it possible to use a very small amount say soapy water, or some other non-perm lube when working those lower silicon pipes on? (Never done this before so there could be many reasons I don't know about.)

Did you get a cel light after the installation? A friend and I installed some on a 23 non hybrid, and it displayed the cell light. We disconnected the negative from the battery, and it goes away and comes back on.

So I just installed the AFE charge pipes thanks to your video. But I have a question. Did you find oil when you took off the OEM charge pipes? Also when transferring over the bypass valves did the spring come off is that normal? Thank you

I’ve watched a bunch of your videos as they pertain to this generation Tundra. You’ve always done great work. I gotta tell you, my 2023 Tundra TRD Pro is the worst vehicle I have ever owned - and it isn’t close. I got it around Memorial Day, 2023-have about 12K miles. This is a car with a bed. My skid plate pops a bunch because I apparently tighten it too much. I loosen it - and the pops are better-but still bad. I have defeated many of the “nannys” via Carista (your video). It still beeps at me when backing a trailer (even when pushing defeat - it reloads). I hope others like these vehicles better than I do. Mine is a train wreck. I will take a bath getting rid of it, but this is a terrible, terrible vehicle with nannys designed for the lowest common denominator of society…

My dealer replaced the original bolts to the trd pro skid plate with new bolts and some sort of washers. When i told the service tech about the noise it sounded like he new IMMEDIATELY (mine is a 2022). The fix worked but lasted only about 10,000 miles and i'll have to have it done again (apparently). The noise was more prominent when pulling into or backing out of my driveway. Also - not sure if the 2023s had this issue but i was able to get free tires at 15,000 miles due to wildly off alignment and steering wheel position from the factory - so the toyota dealer put in the claim and replaced everything for free. I also have a noise where my microphone is right above the drivers seat...ticking/clicking where the double-sided sticky tape has presumably stopped doing its job. I love the truck, overall, but the 2022 was definitely shotty off the line with the amount of ticks/click/clacks & road noise.

same with my 24 trd pro

it’d be fine if toyota had good service but they like to bend you over during paperwork, and then f you during your service appointments.

And this is why Nissan Titan Pro4x is crazy that they stopped it especially with a pure v8

Is there a reason you took your seat covers off?

Just installed my AFE charge pipes on the 2023 Tundra Platinum Hybrid. I had the same issue with the top bracket where I couldn't get the left part of the bracket aligned with the left charge pipe.

sorry this comment is not about this video. but I am wondering if you are experiencing same thing I'm struggling with. have you had any trouble with wet snow pasting up against the radar sensor in front? I am wondering if 'heated tape' could be placed around the edge to keep it melted...the snow on the sensor keeps an 'alert' on my dash board and it won't go away unless I pull over and wipe it clean (yet will load back up with snow shortly)....thanks for the feedback.

I have a 23 pro, I was wondering what kind of gains have you seen by updating your air boxes and what you just done. I have 35’s on stock suspension and mpg isn’t great between 14&15 city driving
@Robert-210 ай бұрын
Not any gains in my truck. 22 TRD off-road 1794 non hybrid with 3” lift and 35s as well. If you don’t have the couplings on perfectly THEY WILL NOT SPIN AND NOTHING LINES UP CORRECTLY. after hours of frustration a broken fan shroud they were on and last but not least the engine cover wouldn’t fit back on because of the bypass valves were hitting. Back to messing with the couplings. Not worth it in my opinion unless you’re doing a full tune on the truck. ie, intake, exhaust, turbos and a re map of the Ecu. My MPG is at a steady 14.5.

I have 35's as well with the factory 3" lift. Fuel economy is terrible. My V8 was better.

My 22 pro with almost 35s (295 /70 R18), Westcott level kit, and AFE airbox is getting 12-13. Rack on back doesn't help.

hello i sent you a facebook messenger question. Is the is the best way to communicate with you? it is specific to the AFE charge pipes
@mervinblack14 ай бұрын
Is this about performance of sound? I'm looking better performance meaning airflow health and easier on the turbos..Whatever it takes to help...Sound I'm not concerned with...
