It’s honestly not bad, I feel like it’s healthier for the game. If all undodgable mix ups were like this, you can’t just guard swap then dodge option select the entire mix, but you can keep guard when you dodge so when being ganked you aren’t fucked for dodging.

Ngl, everything about shaman is fine other than her bleed stab, and now I've finally been able to confirm that I'm not the only one that can't parry the jab even on prediction. I think the only way to counter it is a extremely well timed dodge but even then the bleed stab will catch 80% of the time. Bleed stab needs to be more easily parryable, bc it's a problem that you cant even parry it on prediction.

Idk, I find her lights to be hard to dodge sometimes and the animation makes the parry timing feel weird. I'm kinda hoping they'll improve the animations and make her lights have a bit less tracking. Yes the infinite is gone but they made the dodge worse the neutral bash worse and they added a insane amount of delay for the cartwheel. Essentially they made her feel like garbage she doesn't flow well now she's clunky and here displace range is terrible

Im still waiting for all bashes to be unfientable. Especially charged ones. It’s gotten to the point the new rework and even new heroes just get free damage while original heroes have to straight up do an actual attack. Shinobi, pirate, gladiator, warmonger, warden, conq, and this hero have fientable bashes and not only that give free damage.

If your able to fully commit a bash move and be able to dodge and produce a another bash back to back in a endless combo then yes I would say that this indeed is no different than fienting the bash move all together. Gladiator zone is fientable, shinobi may not have a fientable bash but able to move milliseconds after the animation allowing a endless combo. Pirate initial free damage and very fast recovery making it hard to counter and again in all 3 mentioned heroes free damage given.

@@ryuhadouken2722 all bashes are punishable on read do you mean front roll to kick flip because if so you got bashed and if you dodge a shino bash and gb and they back flip it’s a free gb every time the second hit of glad zone is fientable glad some is strong do to it being fientable and very safe the bash is just a plus and for pirate chain bash on block or wiff is reactable and overall useless because the follow up walk the plant mix now becomes interruptible and can be dodge attacked and for all three hero you only get dmg if the bash lands into a mix up please stop spreading misinformation

Specific heroes meaning not all have this ability. The point I’m saying is this game won’t and can’t balance any of the heroes. Even the devs admitted they don’t even play the game back in season 2. They go by numbers aka system analysis. This way of thinking is what was done in Vietnam here is the crazy part of it the people who made the rules of engagement and the procedures were made by non combatants who went by analysis on the battlefield. The same concept is being done in for honor. Back when for honor first came out a lot of players played orochi. His kill rate, player count, overall statistics were very high. Then came the reworks and orochi for a very long time did not get the attention he needed until now. Now personally me I don’t like storm rush as a undodgeable I liked it originally as what it was before. Now what does this have to do with bashes? A lot because heroes who actually need help aren’t getting it because of silly little numbers the devs consider data.

Especially if your playing different heroes you will notice every hero has a complaint some more than others and the top ones complaining are heroes that seriously need a rework, and heroes like pirate, shinobi and even shoulin get way too many free damage hits. This again includes bashes, mixup bashes, fientable bashes, and lastly literal free damage like pirate and shinobi. The same goes for dodge attacks some heroes can be GB during mid animation others cannot. If your gonna make a fighting game every hero needs to be the same when it comes to animation and attack speed. A perfect example is Mordhau.

My issue with the Afeera patches is that the infinites were fine for the first week when paying players could use it and then removed just in time for everyone else. We had the same issue with BP when his first week his bash after any attack wasn't reactable until they patched it when they made him available for people paying with steel. It makes me kinda concerned that they could have already known about the infinites but kept them for 1 week to benefit paying players
