So true!!! And I'm sorry this is a loooong reply. Had an exhusband (yes I said ex, because I was able to get away, THANK GOD) but did the same to me. Tricking me to go "somewhere, it's a surprise" but instead drove me to a hospital (Dr's Appt. that HE made) Yes, I should have stood my ground, but thought maybe since I was forcefully put here, I could talk to a Dr. about the abuse and where I broke down in tears to the Dr saying that he was driving me crazy, (I guess it was the wrong words to use) because it totally made me look crazy and she believed him over me. Prescribed me with meds. I was PISSED!!!! But, eventually, I picked up my "cahonas" 🤣🤣 (Yes I am laughing at that bc I am a female & my now husband laughed his a$$ off when I said that) Anyway, I finally stood my ground and got out. It was a very scary time at that point, VERY SCARY, but I made it out. Went to court without an Att. (he had an Att mind you) and the Judge granted a 3 yr RO, and threatend him with jail time if he violated it. It wasn't his 1st RO and the Judge knew it. Judge ripped his a$$!!! Had a nightmare that he broke into my house, and the end of the nightmare I thought I was dead. But, Thankfully, I am alive!!! To those out there that say "that would never happen to me", YES it can. It happened to me, and it has happened to alot of people who got out and alot of people that couldn't!!! And to those who say, why would stay with that person, I don't understand??? Hopefully you're never in that situation, because you will never understand!!!! Again, sorry that this comment was sooooooo long.

This is only my opinion. I'm not an expert. Just a person sharing their thoughts & opinions.... I've just started following this case tonight, so I'm only a few videos in but I'd like to talk about her mental health issues. I don't know what she has or has been diagnosed with but if it's depression, anxiety & panic attacks then I'm thinking it's situational. Meaning, when dealing with or being in certain situations, it makes her feel that way. Like when she's with or around her (allegedly 😒) abusive husband. She said in her own letter that she'd been abused in every way & I believe her. I think he pushed her to her final day, if he didn't have some other way of being a part of it. I hope they get justice for her family but most importantly for her.

Wait, I still don’t understand how he was able to get her hospitalized against her will? Are they saying that he used some kind of forged document to exercise medical authority over her?
@Be_An_Esther4 ай бұрын
No, thats not how that works. Involuntary commitment is legal, your loved one (usually a spouse or parent) will take you to the ED and the hospital staff will take it from there. The loved one will explain to them what's been happening with you and they determine if you need admittance or not. In California its called a 5150. In extreme cases a judge can rule that the person needs permanent admittance to a facility and they wont be released. Theres no documentation necessary to have someone admitted involuntarily, as far as I'm aware.

“We have trashed you since day 1 and you have refused to come in our show”. Maybe the guy is a slime ball, but you are seeing one side of an argument. She ended it at her own hands. She was not stable and there are many victims of abuse who do not do so. She bears some responsibility for her own behavior. Relationships that go bad result in bad blood. Nothing surprising. Even after all these arguments she goes back? She just cannot get away. This is not like the poor woman who went to Spain to get away to be followed and murdered. It just seems like he was a manipulative jerk and she was unstable.

@@Shellm2332 I am not a fan of religious zealots but I can keep my emotional reactions in check. I think a lot of the people getting upset are unable to do that. They instead put themselves into the shoes of the victim and apply their own situations and experiences to them instead of think rationally and understand that the victim is not them. If I told someone Ford stinks and they drove an F-150 and my words caught them at a moment and they decided to drive their car off a cliff... is that really my fault? What if I constantly made Ford jokes at work that he took seriously? Does that make me a manipulative person who lead that person to end it or does it make that person mentally unequipped to deal with such criticisms? I saw the video where she is goading him on from in her car. That doesn't sound like anyone in fear I know. This "news" seems to be making a space for itself in such rage baiting.

you seem very naive and uneducated in the topic of domestic violence and the cycle that is narcissistic abuse. trauma bond is related to the chemicals in the brain that cause victims to become attached to their abuser, like drugs do. hell, what do you explain out of Stockholm syndrome? domestic violence and narcissistic abuse is very different to a "bad relationship" like you may have experienced.

This still doesn't explain somethings. First, depending on the state, that I'm aware of, you can't check your family member involuntary. I'd like to see the assessments and reason she was at that hospital to begin with. Meaning why would she agree to go with him to hospital or clinic. What I am saying is she is admitting she was on meds...ok for what? Was she conserved? In my state, power of attorney does not give a person the right to dump their family at hospital. If you're conserved that's different. You're conserved by the state. I've had many family members call and say I have power of attorney over my family member either as an attempt to discharge them or admit them. Power of attorney does not mean their conserved and then the family member makes all the medical decisions psychiatrically. In order for somebody to have stood 3 days they're usually on a hold and the hold comes from a professionals and then patient is reevaluated by psychiatrist to see if the hold is valid. I'm really sorry I get what's happening but a lot of these accusations on both sides are very vague. There's nothing that I've seen that's clearing up a lot of questions. I don't know if this was an affidavit so much as it was again pointed to John Paul and her family disagreeing on something. But my question is why was she there? Did he drive herself to hospital? Did he call the cops? Did the cops pick her up? Do we have any of those documents from the hospital? What did they observe? Because I know from working in a psych hospital 7 years we did not hold anybody just because a family member said so. We were under high liability for lawsuits so even if they arrived, a lot of times if it was unfounded they were gone in 24 hours because a psychiatrist can break the hold. Or if they were evaluated for 24 hours and again it was unfounded. They were released right away. I noticed it looks like she was there about 3 days so was she on a hold?? There's just a lot of unanswered questions and again I'm just curious. Like what medication was she on and for what diagnosis? Because I know medication also can make depressive symptoms worse and some medications can cause suicidal thoughts and increase suicidal tendencies.

Sounds like she had a 72 involuntary hold, he committed her, it was said before but I agree with you, we want to see if she signed voluntarily or was she forced. JP said he took her car away so she wouldn't hurt herself and he stated she has attempted her life before.

Her sister Sierra on videos discussed JP committing Mica against her will. I'm going to watch it again for clarification.
@forerunner74 ай бұрын
Mica is was a pretty strong and athletic person. He had to of DONE something to her to take her there AGAINST her will! Drug her maybe? Because if you knew her, she could take care of herself and certainly fight off an attempt to be dragged to a psych ward against her will. Maybe she was drugged and incapacitated, so he told the hospital some story as if "she was a danger to herself" so they'd keep her? He's been setting the narrative this whole time to desparge her reputation with accusations of mental health. The FBI needs to investigate the circumstances surrounding her being admitted and WHAT was her state upon arriving.
@deniseganey68904 ай бұрын
A Patient must stay on meds and follow through on theraphy . She was in a very vulnerable time in her life, making changes for the future not needed not to be alone. Can't believe she was cleared to buy a run and Ammunition so soon after being committed .
@lotusbreeze62294 ай бұрын
I think her family and JP 's representatives are always going to say different things. I haven't seen anything with hard evidence. I haven't seen any documentation. It's just their word, his word when what's really really sad and unfortunate that somebody took her life. Suicide doesn't make sense. It's not linear. It's not black and white. I've heard it a thousand times or more family and friends saying he she wouldn't have done this because they were happy they planned this or that. Suicide is an impulsive act. It's terrible.

It sounds like she was maybe on an anti-depressant, like an SSRI, or any an extremely common medication that people can choose to take or not, while being perfectly aware and choosing options.
