Hey Mengu! Big fan and long time affinity enjoyer. I always enjoy your videos, especially affinty ones but this one tho brought an extra smile to my face. I've only recently gotten back into Modern because I ended up qualifying for this months Prague RC. I don't have a testing team so I have been playing solo. Before the unbannings, I was actually testing with Tamiyo and Mox Amber. My logic was that the current affinity lists lacked the old explosive (dump 6 cards T1) kind of hands that opal gave. After the Opal unban, and some more testing, I decided on keeping the Tamiyo's in and having more counter magic in the SB. Just like you have here. Your list is actually similar to mine and this makes me very happy. A pro player like yourself making this deck while also doing very well playing it, shows that Im thinking like a pro player or at least on a similar wave length. As a long time asping pro wannabe, this has given me a nice boost in confidence. In my version the biggest difference is that Im playing 4 thopters and 2 Cranial platings. Tamiyo holds the playing pretty damb well. :P Thanks for all your content and I'm looking forward to more veedeos!

I think the bug might be when you tap a creature and springleaf drum together; rather than thinking you're improvising for 2 it's tapping for 1 mana Loving the content as always, by the way

Man, i love how Mengu just doesn't respect other strategies, like AT ALL. If other players are shivering if they just sniff a presence of splinter twin, Mengu could play with exarch on other side of board like it's nothing. And that aura actually translates into wins!

Tamiyo did not seem to do much for affinity besides the pitch at the end. If you could use those two slots for something else what would you do mengu? Grats on the triple trophy!

In game 1 vs the twin deck I think u could have tried to play hole then if they force it you can improvise out the cannoneer with all of your non constructs and make them triple chump anyways

Is blood fountain less effective than tamiyo? I mean tamiyo needs to attack to create clue.. meaning it needs to survive.. though blood fountain isnt a creature and cant attack or do anything else..
