I agree that the rich owe them nothing, though I disagree that having kids is a "lifestyle" choice for many. Some it's accidental, but also some feel it a religious obligation or the only way to reach the trye height of purpose, impact, spiritual growth, and joy in life.

I think it's a rule of the show. Otherwise people could fake a "welcoming" just to have a gift. I like to Imagine anyway that out of the show. .. the Rich Kids might sent a bigger gift.

The role for the tv show is that the rich kids Aren't allowed to use any their own money. Therefore some gifts also are things that are gifted to them first. Things like champagne ,a trip and so on.

$2000 a month for rent is inexpensive. That gets you a okay one bedroom in Texas. These must have been done years ago. All the prices are insanely low on Leah’s side. Getting your hair done for 10 pounds? $60 at an inexpensive salon….

Right now the dollar is still worth less than the pound and it certainly might have been stronger then BUT we’re talking a upscale 3 bedroom in a prestigious neighborhood versus a one bedroom apartment that is in a decent, but not great part of town.

We have so many people living in tent cities in Canada 🇨🇦 it’s insane, winter temperatures go down to -20c in Toronto, but in other parts of Canada it can get to -40c. People lose toes and fingers, some lose their lives…. And things are getting worse, not better! Average rent right now in Toronto for a one bedroom is $2600 Canadian. This is happening because Trudeau government is allowing more foreign students and asylum seekers than there are homes, they found one 4 bedroom house that had 43 students living in it. Mass migration hurts the poorest people and makes the rich more money!

Why do all the families have children? What about those that are single or caring for their parents or grandparents? Not everyone has kids. Lots of single or childfree people struggling as well.

Because the ‘powers’ that be want you to think kids mean poor and don’t have any. A single 24 year old can be selfish and wasteful of money. It would be rude to place them up again a single person same age renting a room. In UK minimum wage depends on age. It’s only 23 it maxes out.
