You can get an add-on piece from ikea that has 2 small drawers on each side, and will give you 5” or 6” lift. I don’t remember the name of it, but it’s around $20-30. I have all my vanity pieces, and now I’m researching for a mirror. I’m about your size, and I noticed that it’s cutting off your head, so the small drawer add-on would be perfect. But I’m not sure if I’m happy about the bulb brightness and other issues you spoke about. So, back to the drawing board I go I guess.
