Mike did you decide to completly abandon Sophos Firewall? I think Sophos has made a great deal of improvements since you last used it.

We still use it at work but yes, I abandoned it for my home application. I found that despite using a core I5, it was limiting my internet speed by close to 50% with IDS/IPS enabled. I tried everything I could think of with no luck so I gave the UDM-SE a shot and never look back. Not only did it not limit my speed, but it made my home network setup much easier.
