Yes for sure, thicker hair strands are often low porosity because there are just more and more densely packed cuticles--so the lighter weight hydrating products work better to penetrate the hair than heavy coatings that just sit on top. I don’t mind a little weight once I get to the gel part of a wash day, but I want the actual "care" steps in my hair care routine to effectively cleanse and hydrate. Your results looks great! If I see these on the ground I will definitely consider picking them up.

You have the most beautiful 4A hair, the prettiest hair IMO. I ❤ these products. I was so irritated w the negative feedback upon release. That gel is my go to. My hair is baby fine and most products weigh it down. I ❤ that this gel is light and rinses clean while still being effective. Your results are GREAT 👍🏽

Great results. I'm definitely adding this to my list. You're too right about formulating to "hair type". I have fine hair and prefer light weight products. I use many of the affordables that you featured. I've definitely learned what I like after almost 14 years of being natural. You do not have to break the bank to maintain healthy hair and scalp.

I used the products you used and it was all fine until the day after. (My hair texture is similar to yours). My hair was dry as the desert. I wish I knew how to insert a photo so you can see it. I will however continue to use up the shampoo and conditioner, leave in cream but the gel OH NO!

Do you detangle off camera? Our hair is similar and from hour past videos i think you primarily finger detangle, then maybe widetooth comb followed by phillips flexx brush? Or does it depend on how tangled your hair feels?

Me too....As a fine haired natural some products are TOO SOFTENING for my hair....Always trying to find the balance between moisture strength hold and volume. Now Tia like Tracee Ellis-Ross is bi-racial with looser curls but seems like they've considered their hair type and tighter curl patterns too. Think I'll give this line a try.

Shampoo looks for pretty I love the color and the iridescence to it. It looks for soft and hydrating. Also I just LOVE your makeup especially your lippie. Is there a video on your makeup application?
