Thanks for the video. I prefer the see through containers. All my stuff are in this type of containers. I found it time savers, and the frustration to open containers one by one. I have space problems and start to collect the see through containers and drawers. I love them.

Teaching tree used to have ones the size of those smaller ones you have. I used silicone to put magnets on the back and put brads, eyelets and other small embellishments in on a magnetic board. Works great.

I have 6 of these bins and I love them. Dollar Tree also has or had the matching taller but shorter bins that have the grid bottoms and I have 4 of those too. I need some more, but they sold out quickly. I really like how you demonstrated all the different items in them as well as how to store them in other baskets and bins. Dollar Tree is my FAVORITE place to check out items for storage as well as their craft aisle and everything else. They have really upped their product lines. Thanks for your video. 😊

Yes....great place to get your storage needs met....but you do have to watch as not all plastic containers are the same in quality ...some are very fragile and poor quality. K

I have those vinyl envelopes. Mine have a zip closure at the top and a stud closure on the front and holes for putting them in a binder. I use them for stamp and die storage, also for projects in progress, for paper scraps, all kind of stuff.

I have had to go on a “container diet”, so I’m glad that my local Dollar Tree is currently closed as it’s very late here in Ontario 😄. Just finally got my own craft space figured out with a lot of similar criteria re: keeping things I reach for most close, others easier to find & likewise easier to access & I have a few of the same longer containers you show in the first part - they really are great. Thanks for giving us ideas for organizing our supplies with these containers. Walmart used to sell the “pencil” cases for $1 a few years ago and then doubled the price. And these boxes are triple the price in some of the other well known craft stores. I bought some from DT’s website last year thinking I’d never see them again. I purchased a few more when I saw them recently in the stores. DT also carries a taller but shorter version as well which I want to get more of if I can find them. I wish the snack sizes came in clear. 😕

I see you using those flat baskets. They are somewhat of a pain because they have rounded corners. I have found some that actually have square corners, so they fit more things like your clear containers when you had 7 but the 8th one didn't quite go. It's because those darn rounded corners.

Good ideas. However, they would be to small for my supplies. I went to my local DT and bought the solid storage bins and then went to the party section and bought the trays that fit perfectly on top. I have a lot of them. I love that I can put a lot of supplies and they stack so well. With the handle opening on the side, it makes it so easy for me to get off my shelves. Also, with limited space I have to think about using the vertical space.

They come in various sizes. DT gets the shorter taller ones. They also have small ones the size of the small blue containers she had. I’ve just not seen them at my regular DTs I go to most. Micheals has clear ones very similar to the shape of that longer bigger one but these are little (similar in size to the small blue ones she got) i got some and store my miniature things in them. I like making a little Stand for Holidays. Think Lemonade stand! The YT channel “made on maple street” does these great “stands” and uses miniature things to dress them up. They’re addictive to make lol I get miniature things at Hobby Lobby.

Rubber stamps, clear stamps and dies should never be dumped in a bin. Images will get dented that creates bare spots or corners compress from the weight of stamps so corners will not print. Image should be flat on a surface. If the container has even small ridges it will compress the image and that can never be fixed. Cling backing can be fixed when flattened by remounting. I put mine on a surface of blue paper towels that fits the container.

Vicki - You seem to know a lot about rubber stamps. I am a retired teacher … I left my classroom unexpectedly during COVID (March 13, 2020), taught online from home the remainder of the year, and returned in August with only one week to pack up and move everything that was in my classroom to my house 500 miles away [there were way too many changes - teaching techniques and expectations, online teaching & learning platform, and ALL of our administrators (school & district!), so I retired]. I am certain that when I finally sort through my belongings I will come across several stamps (orange with wooden handles like the ones in this video) that were used but not cleaned. Is there anything I can do to clean them and restore their rubbery texture? Same question regarding old rubber stamps that have hardened a bit.

I bought SEVERAL of these, I was disappointed, the lids don't lock very well. I've went to pick one up got clumsy and everything went everywhere. But did use in my desk anyway. Cricut tools, office supplies whatnot.

Absolutely....I forgot to show that...you can fit 10 in single layer BUT you can do it two high ( and put lid on) which means you can fit 20 distress mini inks in one container.

ATC stands for Artist Trading Cards....typically mini art cards measuring 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches.....Artists would make and trade with each other mini art...they would put their contact info on the back. I don't trade but refer to any art that size as ATC
