This is a good show, i too discovered a so called copy of my favourite famous perfume one if not the first artificial perfume from a company that sells copies, my mother wore it and i am still wearing it, elegant like walking into a summer garden, shall probably be buried in it…at 83 the road ahead is a lot shorter….but i cannot tell the difference and long live people like you for us who want luxury but cannot afford it…bless you

Hey Gemma … just listened to your video whilst I was in the treadmill… great content 😊…. I actually started laughing out loud, you mentioned “Dossier “ & Floral Marshmallow… I sprayed myself before leaving home with that.. people always but always say “gorgeous fragrance”… I having been using Dossier for roughly 2 years & all their dupes smell identical to their originals … also have you noticed the “Oakcha” brand… all their fragrances too are identical to their originals … I only use “the real fragrance” when out on a special evening/ event … great video Gemma, thank you ..❤

Unfortunately, we don’t get Max factor anymore in the states… But Revlon does have a lipstick called pick me up. That is really close to the pillow talk.

Thank you, Gemma, and I always love seeing videos with your beautiful mum! I would love to try your Max Factor finds, but they are nearly impossible to get in the US. The prices on Amazon are nearly at high end/luxury levels, and in general some of my other beauty purchases lately have been very inconsistent or shady on the website anyway, so who knows what you're going to get. I miss Max Factor from my teenage years. Love your dupe videos!

I never tied the ABH brow gel, but I LOVE the L’Oréal brow gel!!! I got it immediately after it released and been absolutely in love! I have brow hairs that grow down and it’s so hard to get them to stay up! I have tried so many brow gels and most of them don’t hold my brows up for longer than a few minutes, unless they’re like glued to my forehead and I don’t like that look. I like them to look natural so for them be up but then kind of angled to the side somewhat and to stay in place without being stuck to my forehead, and I don’t like when they’re shiny, stiff, or get white residue in my brows. L’Oréal brow gel checks all the boxes for me! Initially I didn’t think it would work well. It didn’t seem like it had enough hold. But if I gave it a few seconds to kind of get sticky (not in a bad way, but in a way where it has good hold), it would get sticky and then I could brush them where I wanted them and they’d stay in place. They aren’t too stiff feeling, not shiny, no white residue, and don’t look glued to my forehead even though they stay in place. So I’ll usually run it through one brow then immediately run it through the other brow. Then I go back to the first brow I applied it to and brush it into place and then go onto the second brow. I find the time between applying it to both brows and then going back to the first brow is all the time I need to get it to start being really sticky.

I have started purchasing the Hair Fragrance version of expensive perfumes. For example: Baccarat Rouge 540 Kurkdjian parfume starts at $210. But 2.4 oz of the hair mist is $85.

Are hair fragrances any lighter in scent than their perfumes counterparts. For example, I wanted to love my Chanel Mademoiselle but it’s sooo strong.

Another trick is the Diptique room fragrances are safe to be sprayed on fabric so as I rarely put perfume on my skin I spray my clothes instead with the home version so much cheaper !

I am 58 and my eybrows are getting more and more crazy for each year. They are patchy, they are drooping, and they are coarse! The ABH brow freeze gel is the very first product that actually works for me!! I never got around to make the first version in a pot to do its job, but the one with the wand..! Finally! To my utter amazement the brows now stay in place all day! So for me to even start thinking of trying a dupe… Well, we’ll see about that. For now on, though, I think I stay with ABH on this one. 😁 But I will definitely try that Pillow Talk lipstick dupe!!💋

Love dupes and love you! Unfortunately Dossier failed me. You’re correct, can’t tell the difference when you initially spray it. One hour later you wonder if you remembered to put it in at all because these fragrances DO NOT LAST. I’ve tried 6 different ones and have to keep the bottle in my purse and spray every couple of hours. Very sad!
