A lot easier to turn the valve on/off with my phone and the MHD app.

That definitely works as well, but for me personally, I wanted a separate analog button that its sole function was to operate the exhaust valves. Too many functions are controlled by my phone these days lol 😅

Definitely! Both will make a difference. I just opted for the controller first as it offers the “lowest” volume increase overall so I wanted to document the progression as I installed bigger mods. Plus, the controller is attachable to any valved rear section so it’s good add-on for any future upgrades 😎🤘🏼

What’s the difference between this product and the bimmer link app where you can open the valve thru your phone

Yep, so I’ve researched them all and have both products. The Bimmer Link app function is only useable when/if the app is open and running. So if you don’t have your phone open with open running it won’t work. So not realistic in every day life, just useful for some tuning functionality. The Dahler unit is a full functioning in-line unit that gives you all the time access to the valves. It’s definitely a product that’s worth having 👍🏼

@@legacydriven It's because of EU-Regulations and this freaking OPF making newer sports cars sound like vacuum cleaners! I'm glad I didn't sell my E92 M3 yet after 12 years of ownage! It's not the fastest but at least with OEM Mod you got some character! It's not wise here in germany to delete cats, xpipe or manipulate valves because in general and above all in bigger cities police has seperate tuning schooled police units who definetly know what's going on! I only got stopped once in all these years like 2021 or so and the second thing the cop did was sneak under my car but gladly all original ;)!
