How much lower did you lower it . I did 1.4 eibach and over bumps it ride bad!! It’s got to be away to lower your car and keep stock ride or better… why that’s not available is crazy. I’m 59 and I like low cars but I want a stock ride, I wish someone would make something just 1.4 front and 1.5 back with stock ride quality . I heard pedders and KW drops your car from 1-3 inches and you can adjust you ride quality to as good or better than stock!

Yeah i totally get it! This ALS kit does retain the factory EDC functionality so to me (in comfort mode) the ride is comparable to stock or at least pretty close to it. But, at the end of the day this is a high performance car so I can’t expect too much comfort from it 😅

Dope man. I’m still basically bone stock. How do those springs feel? I know it will be stiffer but trying to retain as much comfort as possible for when my wife and daughter are with me. Otherwise I’m just going eibach fronts and my box and golf clubs will keep the back down lol. I think I’m going 15mm front and 12 mm back spacers.

Appreciate it 👊🏼 So yeah the AST ALS kit retains the factory EDC system so I can control the damper settings from the cabin still so if my wife and son are with my I switch to comfort and it’s pretty close to stock. But it can still be aggressive as well, so an overall great balance for a high performance street build (some track use). I’m running 12.5mm spacers front and rear for your reference during this video. That has been a perfect setup for me while on stock wheels 👍🏼

Nice! I really like the olive metallic colors, or even gunmetal metallic style colors. Also, this is individual Interlagos Blue, not Tanzanite. It’s fairly easy to maintain, but it’s also fully coated in SB3 Ceramic so that certainly helps!

Thank you for the video! I'm on the verge of going for the same setup. After doing my research, I'm concerned about potential rubbing issues with the front fenders. My G80 base is running on Pirelli P-Zero tires with stock height. Do you think the same setup is safe with 12.5mm + 15mm spacers? I'm considering between your setup and a 12mm + 15mm combo to ensure there's no rubbing in the front. What would you recommend? Also, how do you like the spacers after 10 months? Has there been any noticeable change in driving dynamics? Can you even tell the difference?
@legacydriven
@legacydriven 24 күн бұрын
Hey thanks for the support! Glad the video helped you! So if you’re on stock height with P Zero tires you should NOT rub at all with 12.5mm in the front at anytime. I had this same setup as you saw from the video for months with no issue. Once I lowered the car then I installed the fender liner enhanced clearance kit to allow more room to prevent rubbing. Additionally, 15mm in the rear looked amazing on stock height after I made this video. And I kept that setup for many months. But, when I lowered the car I ended up putting 12.5mm on the rear as well since the gap in the rear was a little too tight for my preference. It would rub on high speed bumps etc. It looked really aggressive, but function is very important to me. But for your current setup, 12.5mm front and 15mm rear will look amazing on stock height 👊🏼👊🏼
@legacydriven
@legacydriven 24 күн бұрын
To add, I still have these spacers on as of now. They’re amazing and I’ve had zero issues. These are really good quality spacers which is why I chose them. It does widen the stance of the car so handling is slightly improved on aggressive cornering etc. Just make sure you install them correctly as safety is paramount here. 🤝

@legacydriven
@legacydriven 26 күн бұрын
@@Sacrifice-Paid Depending on ambient temps it could 8-10 minutes or 15-20 minutes I’ve seen. I personally don’t drive until the engine temp gauge climbs out of the “cold” which is generally 1/4 way to optimal temp. Once passed that 1/4 mark I’ll drive easy (low throttle input and low rpm) until fully warmed to optimal temp then rev it out. (Just make sure your tires, brakes, etc are all warm as well depending on driving conditions) 👍🏼👍🏼

@@legacydriven mmm, interesting, sounds like if I was to invest in buying an E92 M3, it’d have to sit on my drive for at least 5-10 mins b4 going anywhere, which would be a tad irritating, I’ve currently got an E92, but a 2011 330 m sport, auto….., and I’m certainly not 1 of those that just turns the car on then drives, that annoys me when others do that, I say to them, would u get out of bed and run, no u wouldn’t, cos you’d injure yourself, so why do that to ur car 🤷🏻‍♂️
@legacydriven
@legacydriven 26 күн бұрын
Haha great analogy! Yeah everything in life generally needs a brief warm up 😆👊🏼 Also, yeah having to let the car warm up for several minutes can sometimes be a bit of a frustration but I always remind people that this is a performance vehicle so it needs more attention and heat to perform optimally. 99% of the time it doesn’t bother me. I just start it up and let it idle for 5-8 minutes then head out if the temp gauge shows ready
