Installed mine in a few minutes. Absolutely love it. Does everything I wanted. I never, ever need to have access to it remotely. Simple, elegant and, most important, my wife loves it - that was the most important thing for me.

If you need to unlock the door and you're away from home, you can have the app generate an unlock code that is good for 4 hours. You can then give that code to someone who needs to go inside.

Do you need to be close to the door to generate the one-time code?

@@alexzheng9841 you do not have to be in Bluetooth range to generate the code. I just tried it with Bluetooth off, and the option to generate the code was available. When I click it, it says: One-time codes can be generated in the app at any time. This can be generated remotely without Bluetooth. This code can be used once on the keypad between xxxxxx

Can this auto-lock immediately when you close the door or does their have to be a delay?

There are to 5 ways unlock the bolt. 1. Use the user pin created on the app. 2. Use fingerprint registered on the lock/app 3. Use bluetooth though the app. (ive gotten about 30ish feet away, driveway to door) 4. Use bluetooth by sharing with another wyze user 5. Use an app generated code which expires every 4 hours This lock appears to be a winner with autolock, schedules and no wifi ingress are positives on top of a stellar price.

so how do you get in if the keypad fails. I like the backup of a physical key just in case.

What happens when the battery dies. How do you open the lock without an actual key option?

I cover this in the video, if the battery completely dies there is a USB-C port on the bottom that can be used to power on the lock enough to unlock it.

You may want to think about getting a security door. By the time someone breaks a pane of glass, they’re gonna reach in them twist a little nob. Other than that, it was a great review
