Ohh love how everything looks so cohesive! And affordable too! I used to do that too, shop the weekend sales for cute stuff to add to my collection, but the amount of weekend sales got pretty overwhelming after a while and I just stopped checking them out altogether... Definitely a good option though, for us decorating girlies!!! 😊😊😊

Irine, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I love decorating in SL. I love to show how inexpensive SL can be when decorating. When it comes to the weekend sales I rely on SL FB groups such as ACCESS and SL Home decor weekend sales. If I could recommend only one I would go with Seraphim. I love Scarlet Creative homes I have quite a few of them, they have been around for years. Your home is beautifully done, I'm always curious to see how others decorate open space layouts. I sometimes find it challenging when it's a larger space. I have the Barleys Edge house from Roost currently, I love a home with big windows, but I'm on the hunt for a new summer house. I remember when people would sell their items on Sims, like a yard sale for gotcha items. You could really find some hidden gems. 🤗

Kafi, I have many Scarlet Creative homes as well lol. Their homes often seem to have open floor plans which I prefer. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour and my decorating!! I was touring the Barleys Edge home recently, its beautiful!!. I was thinking of getting the Hamilton Downs house but opted for something much smaller. Larger floor plans can be difficult because it makes you feel like the open areas need to be filled. I like to add plants to give the feeling of a fuller space while still allowing it to be open. I use to LOVE going to gacha markets!!!! I would spend a whole day there and find so many treasures for super cheap prices. Now the gachas are more expensive and not as fun to shop. The creators got greedy and messed it up for themselves as well as us. I hope you find your perfect summer home!!

I love the before annd after show of the decorated home.. love how you made it luxurious, but with a lived in type of feel to it. Love the clutter & Artwork touch to it as well and that you explained it to us. The skybox/house somehow feel tiny when u showed it emty, but the way you decorated it made it feel bigger too. Weekend sale shopper as well here sometime events too but i feel like i get good deals out of the sales and shop less at events now.

Thank you Wulla. I'm glad you enjoyed the house tour. I really wanted to show how you can really make a space your own. I really wanted the house to feel upscale but also lived in, that's my favorite decorating style. The clutter was a task because I wanted to keep the color scheme in mind with the items. I wanted the artwork to be the color in the spaces. When I first saw the skybox I walked around it and planned out spaces before I purchased it because it looked to small for what I wanted to do as well lol. Weekend sales really changed the way I shop on SL! SL can be a really expensive place but you can still find some affordable places to shop outside of the weekend sales.

I love this so much, and girl i love me a good weekend sale too! i be on the hunt for items. i love the fridge fillers when i see them on sale i grab them. i have so many gachas as well and i just dont know what to do with them. i really love the bathroom, for a small space you it very luxurious, i can wait until you show your new home

Malani, I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I look forward to weekend sales every week lol. The Merak fridge fillers I had to wait on because they took forever to add it to a weekend sale lol. I love gachas and have been collecting them as long as I can remember. I like to use my gachas to accent spaces especially if I have a really unique one, I'll use it as a statement piece! The bathroom was the space that taught me that you don't need a tub and shower in every house lol. I really loved how everything came together. I'll definitely do a tour of my new place once its complete!!

Baby Gen, Thank you!! I was so proud of myself when I did the terrarium lol. I love gachas and although I have never deleted one Ik that you can. I would suggest that when you put a gacha down you lock it so you don't accidentally delete it. I lock my homes as well for the same reason lol.
