Received mine yesterday. Today I painted 120 feet of cement wall. Went fast and with a lot less paint. No more rollers, paint pans, brushes, plastic cover. It works great.

I wish I could answer that. Paint comes in so many viscosities from the store. Just mix it until it's right and it will paint great. Good luck with your project!

I threw mine away. Kept overheating. I’d get a couple minutes of service then it would stop. Have to wait 20 minutes to reset.

Did you keep your paint a little thinner? And did you actually use like a water-based paint or an oil-based paint? And did you actually clean it? It's not like an air pressured sprayer so you only have to spend maybe 15-20 mins cleaning the bag and your tips

You would use enamel paint. You need to sand and use TSP on them before painting.

So, if you have a gallon of water based house paint, for interior walls, you get that dilution cup, dip it in the gallon, count how many seconds it takes to empty back in the gallon, and dilute with water until it empty's the cup between 20-40 seconds? Is that right? Thank you. Enjoyed that video.

That's spot on. Try to shoot for the 30-40, it will lay down better.

It is a viscosity cup. The paint can be to thick or it won't spray correctly. The thinner you use will be indicated on the can.

We really like the paint gun. The feed bin took maybe 30 minutes to paint - because of the height of the bin, we had quite a bit of ladder moving.

I can't remember the amount of refills, I think the cup is a quart.

I bought this spray gun yesterday, went to use it today. Did everything like it said but it's spraying in spots. Looks like I'm texturing the wall. Not smooth at all. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure you have it thinned properly with the testing cup, also the paint need mixed well. If the paint is old you may need to screen it for clumps. If you have gone through all that then there is an issue with the sprayer. Which I hope it isn't because they are really good.

Looking for something simple like this. My question, Does it spit little chunks out? Like if I sprayed it on smooth board, would I have to sand it? Also how long can the paint stay in the cylinder cup?

If it is mixed properly and screened you shouldn't have any chunks. The paint can stay in the cup for a while, but the paint that's on the nozzle will dry giving you a issue.

I have this paint sprayer. On day 1 it worked fine for a good 30 minutes. But now when I press on the trigger it only blows air and no paint??? Please let me know what I can do to troubleshoot this.

Did it get cleaned good last time. I totally break mine down and do a once through b4 I put it back together. Also the paint cup has to have a good seal for it to operate properly.

It does have a blower that takes the place of an air compressor. It does work very well. I would buy it again if it broke.

Just purchased this, thank you for the review! I am new to painting with one of these, I am going to paint my exposed basement ceiling. I plan on using Latex paint. Can you recommend a water to paint ratio that won't be too messy but thick enough to paint joists? Also what tip should I use? I think I will be painting using the vertical fan. What kind of paint do you recommend? I want to do a flat or satin black.

Hi, There is a viscosity cup in the box that you use to mix the correct amount of water or thinner and run it through the cup. In the directions it will tell you the amount of time it takes to drain the cup and if it falls in that time you can spray it. I can't remember the correct tip, but I think it's the large one. Make sure the paint tank is sealing properly it pressurizes. If that's not it start looking for obstructions. I use the heck out of mine It's 4.5 years old.
