Installing it on the door is also nice because it let's you change the blade without removing the light

Looks like a decent light. Mine has a magnet on it - a typical sewing machine light, works pretty good. Since I run my saw on a momentary-contact foot switch, the light is also plugged in to that foot switch, so it comes on and goes off as-needed.

My experience with these is that the adhesive will fail after some amount of time - a few weeks in my case. I went the route of CA glue to hold them in place and haven’t had an issue since.

IF there is room inside the top wheel housing and you can safely apply a brighter option LED fixture, there that would be the best. LEDs have come a long way with ultra bright versions and installed straight down to the cutting blade and comes on when you push the start button, is always a good idea... Thumbs Up!
