Yes, you can either do that in the Emporia app or on the vehicle side.

I found the video just right for anyone considering the charger. The app features you mention I am certain do not apply to the $399 version. It would be convenient to know if they apply to the Power Smart Load Management version $599 or the $699 Pro Control (most likely not).

I have the $399 Emporia version that I just bought a week ago and I have the app; it has all of the features he mentioned.

Does the app have the ability to stop charging when the battery reaches a specific set point such as 80% or, left unattended it will charge to 100%. Or, does it have a way to stop charge after I select a specific time to charge, say 3.5 hours.

Very good video Alex - thanks for posting it. 👍 It appears the latest version of the Emporia EV Charger comes with a new/different J1772 connector gun as compared to the original version Emporia EV Charger (which is what I have). How did you like the new connector gun? Any complaints? Thanks, Richard

@@PianoKeyzOfficial Good to know, thanks for commenting. Btw.. does your EV have the ability to "lock" the connector gun in the charging inlet/receptacle while the vehicle is being charged? If so, is Emporia's new/updated connector actually "locking"? With my gen 1 Emporia EV Charger the gen 1 connector gun doesn't "lock" in place.

On the app, can you electronically change the output in amps that you want the charger to output? Eg wired to a 48amp, can I control on the app to decrease output to 32amps?
