I've had a pair of Focal CMS-40s for a good few years. After moving to a flat I didn't really need the KRK Rokit 8s that I had before. Think I could listen to the Focals all day. Evo would prob be the next upgrade as I need a front ported speaker due to room size constraints. A 5m living room half of which is my hobby area (3d printer, cnc router, electronics lab and the studio area which I cannot get much into at all since I've gone DAW less).

I had the 50s but they gave too much bass buildup in my tiny apartment. Even when blocking off the ports. I found a spot in the room where is was better but not practical at all. The clarity was amazing but because of an untreated room I got ear fatigue very quickly. Such amazing speakers

i am ready to buy a pair of alpha 80 or alpha twin evoor kali in8 2nd wave, which one would you choose? There are very good reviews for In8 2nd wave also but i am not sure for the quality of the construction?? I will appreciate your opinion!!!!
