Hi Dave & Lisa. WOW, thank you so much for sharing this adventure with us. That brought back so many memories from a couple of years back. We rented a holiday cottage in Cannich, shopped in the Spar, and had our tea every night next door in the Slater's Arms. It's also where we did our first two Munro's, Tom a' Choinich and Toll Creagach and we walked the full circular of Loch Affric on another day. Brilliant stuff. All the best Dave

Thank you for a beautiful film! It brought back some great memories from when I walked the Affric Kintail Way back in late October 2021 (from Cannich, we had skipped the first stage because we had heard some boring stuff about it ^^ good to know there is now a way to avoid the road section!) Such a beautiful area, and it was amazing to get a bird's eye view thanks to your gorgeous drone footage! I hope you got your pizza! My dream for the end was a hot chocolate, and the disappointment was bitter when we found out that the Kintail Lodge was closed for the season 😅 (and now I always carry some instant hot chocolate powder, that moment must have scarred me 😂)

Hiya Julie 👋 Firstly, we made it in time for pizza 🍕(just) and it was probably one of the best ever lol 😂 It must have been painful not getting your hot chocolate 🍫… If the Kintail Pitstop was closed, I’d have cried!! 😁 There was quite a bit of pushing but I think the route is better now than when you done it. Not sure if I’d like to walk the first half though. I’m particularly proud of the drone footage, it’s come out way better than I’d thought. Our wee video has obviously brought back memories! Thank you for messaging! 😁🙏

Well done to you both, what great camera work👍. I only done half what you did but twice... Cycled in from Clunnie in and then down to Morvich.... The second time I did it I went round from Morvich and clockwise round Bein Fada, it was very remote on the far side espessially with a bike and on your own and the cobbles on the last bit are good on a mtb 😜👍

That was an awesome watch, thank you. There’s a massive effort involved in making these types of films, so you deserve loads of kudos for that - the distance you both go beyond the camera before retrieval is impressive and likely adds miles onto your trip! I’m thinking of tackling this route on a gravel bike and can see there will be plenty of hike-a-bike phases during the latter stages of the trail. I also like your start/end-point logistics’ arrangements. Looking forward to checking out your other films. Subscribed 👍

Hi Drew, thanks for your message. The route is pretty straightforward to be honest. The main area with an increased risk is the route down past the waterfall at the end. The rocks can be slippery when wet. No real issues in terms of water crossings etc. The place we left Hamish at was good, no issues. When you go for the bus you must stand at the roadside and flag it down when it appears or it’ll drive past. Take cash as a backup with you for the bus, the card machine wasn’t working. The driver let us in for free in the end! Have fun. Dave 👍😊
