You should say Taliban’s Allahu Akbar is fake. @@squad6576 who said they were already parts of India? They were princely states and goa was a portugese colony, do goans speak or consider their mother tongue as Hindi? India took over by military force, and if you're not willing to believe that then fine Balochistan was also part of Pakistan. Also ever heard of the word protectorate? Bhutan in other words is just another Indian colony, its just that the indians find it much less of a headache to make it officially part of India especially this day in age, as for Nepal they were free during British rule too, and India didn't take over with military force for the same reason the British didn't and the Chinese didn't, also wasn't there a lot of crying and whining going on recently with Nepal warming up relations with China recently. Once again would urge you to learn some true indian history not the filtered version where India is some sinless being. Also democracy isn't suited for every country glad it suits india but if you try to shove it down other people throats there isn't much difference to it from facism, which seems to be the current Democratic setup in India

Bringing the Afghan under the same flag is the biggest problem they have to face. It might be the reason why neither anyone was able to conquer it or able to rule it centrally for years. Currently its more like Pashtun, Tajik, Hazara, Uzbek, Aimaq, Turkmen, Baloch, Pashai, Nuristani, Gujjar, Arab, Brahui, Qizilbash, Pamiri, Kyrgyz, Sadat and not as an Afghani as such. The Westerners are to blame for most of the country border disputes within and outside. Taliban is trying to take control of this chaos by bringing religion disguised in their ideology to unify. We can see a semblance of the same in our country too in a way.

India should support any democratically elected government in Afghanistan. The Taliban is coming to power just through violence & war. If elections are conducted in a fair manner, Taliban will never come to power. Come what may...India should rather take a principled stand in support of the majority opinion in Afghanistan. Only principled stand & patience will obtain respect in world politics in the long run. In any case, even if we make an enemy out of Taliban, they could never fight India directly at the border. For the short term, India should be prepared to lose the political gains, goodwill got through decades of welfare work in Afghanistan. Even if Taliban comes to power, it will not last long, the world powers will never allow that.

"IF" there is a chance for the ANA to take back control from the Taliban and "IF" our intervention can be projected to make the civil war less bloody then it is my conviction that GOI ought to covertly facilitate ANA with Material support without having Indian boots on the ground.

I believe staying away from direct intervention in Afghanistan by GOI is a clever move. No propaganda should float as ‘India as a foreign power interfering in Afghanistan’. End of the day Afghan people should make their move to defeat Taliban’. How long foreign power will be there to decide Afghan’s destiny? It’s their country, they have to do it by themselves. Although I believe GOI must be supporting with intelligence and logistic support.

Afghanistan people had 20 years to help In war against Taliban, if there had been even slight intention of removing Taliban that would have been achieved by now. It is ironic as well that they are fighting Taliban by using 'Alah hu Akbar' slogan, in Gurella war like these if any party attain people trust it is very difficult to make them lose the war, same thing happened here, people should have supported Afghanistan government initiatives instead of Taliban.

Sir, you should read the book IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME by Sayed Mujtaba Ali. Its translated from Bengali. The similarities between the then Afghanistan and present Afghanistan is uncanny. During his stay the city of Kabul was captured and raided by a decoy named Baccha Sakao who also wanted to establish an Islamist government in Kabul in reaction to various reforms the then king Aman Ulla had introduced in Afghanistan. The writer narrates his travel and stay in Afghanistan around 1927 during which time the great game for Afghanistan was very much on between Russia and Britain.
