In her S.E.E.D. (Support, Empower, and Engage our Diaspora) talk, "Why Do They Call You Ustad?," Anisa Amani shed light on her experience of making the switch from self-doubt, to self-fulfillment. Starting off as a struggling student who was diagnosed with dyslexia, she never believed she could prosper. Now she’s a successful elementary school teacher providing cultural competency to her students.
